Pray for Haifa. May this beautiful and diverse city on the slopes of Mount Carmel come to know Yeshua the Messiah and share Him with the world!

"Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. 'Go, stand in the temple courts,' he said, 'and tell the people all about this new life.'"
‭‭Acts‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬-‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If you ever have the chance, spend time just roaming the streets and stairs of the Old City. You’ll see so many unexpected sights and colors.

Today marks three years since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages into Gaza. Of those 251 hostages, 85 were killed in captivity. Among those who survived, some endured captivity for 2 years, 3 months, 2 weeks and 5 days.

We remember those who were lost. We respect those who endured such horrific attacks. We honor those who fought against such evil.

Most of all, we cling to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We hold fast to the one true Creator God—a God who loves Israel and set Israel apart for the purpose of bringing forth His Son, Yeshua, the Messiah—the King of the Jews.

We have an everlasting hope in Yeshua and His finished work on the cross—a hope that transcends even the greatest of evils and the deepest of sorrows.

We remember.
We mourn.
We pray.
And we hope in Yeshua.
