We are a warm, family-friendly, bible-centred church who love Jesus, one another and our city. Christ Church Truro - Sunday 9.30am

A friendly church family of all ages, meeting every Sunday at 10 River Street, Truro. The church is made up of people from all backgrounds and every stage of life. We have lots of young families and small children as well as older adults. We have an informal style and

a warm welcome. Refreshments are served before and after our service. We have an amazing Sunday Club for primary age children where they learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment. As well as meeting on Sundays we have midweek community groups, events and activities. Christ Church is a Church of England church in the Diocese of Truro.

As we conclude our summer series we come to one of the best-known stories in the Bible. Daniel refuses to stop praying to God, even though it means being thrown into a den of lions. God faithfully protects Daniel, showing that he is worthy of our trust, whatever the cost.

This week we'll be gathering a little differently at Christ Church!

Join us from 9:30am for a bacon roll and a hot drink as we spend time together as church family.

There will be crafts for the children and Bible study notes for everyone to read through and take home. While there won't be a formal service this week, we'd love you to come along, enjoy some good conversation, encourage one another, and simply spend time being church together.

This week as we continue our summer series, King Nebuchadnezzar has a troubling dream that no one can explain. In answer to prayer, God reveals both the dream and its meaning to Daniel, showing that he alone rules over every kingdom and every ruler.

Join us this Sunday to continue our exciting all age summer series in the book of Daniel. Despite the odds, Daniel and his friends are following God in a ‘Mission Possible’. Sometimes we may feel as if we are in an alien nation, with pressure to conform to living in ways that go against God’s rule.
As we dig a bit further into Daniel chapter one, we'll find Daniel and his friends facing a difficult decision. They face pressure to eat food and drink forbidden to the Jews. They risk everything to take a stand for God.

This Sunday we're continuing our summer series through Revelation — and we're getting to the bit that, for most people, sounds the most alarming: the four horsemen, the seals being broken, judgement unfolding. It sounds overwhelming and awe-inspiring…

We'll be looking at what Revelation 6–8 is actually saying — a picture of where history is headed and who is in charge of it. And right at the heart of it, there's a vision that stops you in your tracks: a numberless crowd from every nation, on the other side of everything, safe.

If life feels uncertain, or hard, or like the world is spinning out — this is a morning worth coming to as we discover our world is anything but out of control.
