So What? Children’s Hub So What? Conference and Breakfast Hubs are for all who have involvement with children and families through the local church.

It’s a time of equipping, networking, empowering, focus sessions, prayer and worship.

A group of us (Children and Families Workers from Cornwall) will be meeting up for our next So What? Breakfast at City Life Church, Truro on Thursday 23rd November at 9.30 - 11am.
We will start with coffee and danish, catch up and then share ideas/ask questions about our ministries with ‘Sunday Kids’.

We are meeting again on Monday evening to pray for Children and Youth in our communities and beyond.

If you are free and can join us at City Life Church in the House of Prayer it will be great to see you.

I was reminded of this verse again this morning:-
But Jesus called them to him saying, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Luke 18 v16)
This will be the basis for our prayers on Monday evening, praying against all that 'hinders' and that the children and youth will meet and know Jesus in their everyday.

CANCELLED
It is with regret that we have decided to cancel the So What? Conference on Saturday. The numbers have remained low and it’s too costly to fund Andy’s visit with so few.
I have been chatting with Andy this evening and we would both like to offer to hold the sessions on a few zoom evenings. If this is something that you might be interested in then please let me know.
I am extremely sad to cancel but feel it’s the right decision under the circumstances.
Looking forward to catching up with you again soon.

This is for children’s workers, family workers, church leaders and anyone else who has a desire to see children and families discover and grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.

Hi all

Regrettably, we are postponing the So What? conference planned for Saturday 6th November until the Spring. We plan to hold this on Saturday, 5th March 2022, more details will follow in the new year.

However, I'm wondering if any of you would be interested in a zoom call on Saturday 6th November from 9.30am? From conversations and articles I have been reading the return to children and family ministry has been challenging and is raising many questions.

On our zoom call I suggest we chat, discuss and share our thoughts, ideas and experiences on the following areas:

How are we engaging with children and families since covid and the challenges we are now facing?

How do we approach children's ministry on a Sunday?

Volunteers - there seems to be a lack of volunteers for many churches, how can we build team or work with the volunteers we do have!
We might not come up with all the answers but it will be great to share, inspire, encourage and pray for each other.
