Wooden Chairs Available

We are offering a number of wooden chairs from Truro Cathedral that are no longer in use.

Chairs will be available for Β£25 each, with all proceeds going towards the ongoing upkeep and care of the cathedral.

If you would like to be considered, please complete our Expression of Interest form. We will close the Expression of Interest form on 28 September and will contact successful applicants directly after this.

If demand exceeds the number of chairs available, recipients will be selected at random to ensure a fair process.

Join us at the long table for lunch on Sunday, 20 September! πŸ™Œ

All are invited to a special long table lunch where team members, volunteers, visitors and congregation join together to share lunch.

The idea is that the cathedral provides the tables for a communal picnic lunch, and you bring your own lunch and enjoy meeting & chatting with other members of the Truro Community whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of Truro Cathedral.

On Sunday (13 September), there is a service of reflection for people affected by su***de taking place at the cathedral.

This service provides an opportunity for all those affected by su***de to come together in a safe and supportive space to remember those they have lost. All are welcome – of all faiths or none – to this special event.

The Mousehole Male Voice Choir will provide choral music, with a performance by the Hope Singers group for those bereaved by su***de. Rhys; The Nightchurch Pianist will also be performing.

🎢 Join us at Truro Cathedral tomorrow for the penultimate lunchtime Tuesday Live concert of the series!

We're delighted to welcome back former Truro Cathedral musicians Benjamin Larham and Jeremy Wan for Mi Dicha Encontrare ("I shall find my bliss"), an engaging musical journey through Spain and Portugal featuring works by Granados, Mompou and Turina. Expect beautiful melodies, vibrant rhythms, and a taste of the Iberian Peninsula.

The concert lasts around 45 minutes, making it the perfect lunchtime escape from work or shopping. No charge for admission, with donations gratefully received in support of Truro Cathedral Music.

The Threads Through Revelation exhibition is officially open at Truro Cathedral.

On until 5 October, the exhibition can be viewed during the cathedral's general visiting times.

Comprising 14 monumental textile panels, each nearly 3m tall, the exhibition explores the extraordinary visions recorded by John in the book of Revelation.

πŸ’š This month Truro Cathedral will be illuminated green in support of World Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week. πŸ’š

The cathedral will be lit in green by The Noah Jordan Foundation , a Cornwall based charity supporting children and families affected by mitochondrial disease, helping to raise awareness of these rare and life limiting conditions, and showing solidarity with those living with mitochondrial disease.

The Noah Jordan Foundation team will be at the cathedral on the evening, and visitors are warmly invited to come along, learn more about mitochondrial disease and discover the vital work the charity is doing to support families across Cornwall and beyond.
