In discussions around the Conservation Management Plan, the following potential volunteer roles have been identified. For good order, a primary reporting line is identified, but the volunteer will need to liaise more widely within the parish.

Our magnificent Gray & Davison pipe organ recently came out of its polythene covers so that we are able to resume accompanying music within the liturgy, and giving weekly organ recitals, until the next phase of our Facilities Upgrade Programme commences. A link with history will be formed this autumn when last year’s Organ Scholar, Joshua O'Neill, moves on to Exeter College, Oxford, where he begins as Organ Scholar this term. Julian Dams, who was Director of Music here at the Abbey for 37 years, was also Organ Scholar of Exeter College in the 1950s. Jamie Henderson, our current Director of Music, was also Organ Scholar of Exeter College in the 1980s. We wish Josh all the best for his new start at Exeter College.
