Lots of fun at our All Age Worship yesterday morning.
"Brave Like Joshua", was the theme.
We shared the things that scare us. Some brave church family put their hands into bags to guess what was in them.....1 included cold baked beans 🤣
Played odd one out on the big screens..
Had a great Praise Time with our band and singers 🎶🎸🎤🎶
And ended with everyone making Ice Cream Sundaes.....ending our Sunday School Summer Sundaes Sessions.
🍦Ice cream represents God as our centre,our rock. An ice cream sundae without ice cream wouldnt work, like a life without God wouldnt work for us.
🍦Toppings represents each thing that we can do to live a Godly life.
🍦Sauce represents Holy Spirit, around us and within us, like the sauce.

The children and youg people were presebted with a special pen and bookmark set witg a Godly message on to take to school/college/uni with them when they go back.

A great AAW time spent together worshipping God. We look forward to the next one 🙌

Lots of busy chefs in the kitchen on Friday, with the youth club baking for their coffee morning on Saturday.. in aid of their youth weekend at 3 Generate in October.
We do hope you will come along and taste some of their creations 👨‍🍳🧁🍪👩‍🍳
And of course a spot of uni hoc 👍

We all had a very sticky tine yesterday morning at our last of the
" Summer Ice cream Sundae Sundays."
What a great success tgus project has been. I think everyones enjoyed it 🥰🍦🍦😎🍦🍦

So, today we heard about the amazing story of the
"Tower of Babel".
Much discussion today over some of the story and the facts. Realising that Gods powers are too fast for our minds to comprehend...and How very AMAZING God truely is!
So, their challenge was to build a tower of ice cream! In 2 teams,who would build the tallest tower, using all the resources provided....
Waffles,ice cream, jaffa cakes,twix bars, sauce and sprinkles! Not a healthy one today 🤣😉
It was great fun... 1 team built fast and tall....butit started to melt and slip away....the other team took a more strategic view and built slowly and it stayed tall!
We then shared it all out for a yummy treat 😉

Last Sunday the Summer Ice-cream sessions continued with the story of Adam and Eve.... ice cream creations witg sauce, jelly snakes and apples. Plus other fruits too.

It was another session in our Ice-cream Summer Sundays.
Yesterday the young people heard about the story of Noah and created 1 BIG ARK out of ice cream, animal crackers, sauces, rainbow chews and chocolate fingers for the wood.
Once created,they all shared it amongst themselves 😋 so no-one in the church family got to see their creation 🤣 so here it is. Looks yummy dosnt it!
