Lots of Pentecost fun this morning for our teens group,Ignite.
Lots of blow football, followed by a reading all about Peter and what that 1st Pentecost was like...
Inspiring.🔥
We then cooked popcorn, as a demonstration of the Holy Spirt...
When we have the warmth of the Holy Spirit in us, ot can transform us,like it does the popcorn kernals...it can do amazing things in us.
They created pipecleaner models of themselves and caught a tissue flame to remold their model so that it was holding the flame. Transforming themselves when the Holy Spirit was with them. 🔥🔥🔥

We had our 1st Workshop on Wednesday, to begin to work out Our Churches Future Story.
We shared a yummy supper together and spent time chatting and sharing. Thinking about all the positive thigs in our Church, what we treasure, what is tricky.... how do we know that God is present and how he works in us at YMC.
It was a good productive evening. Well done everyone!
We hope you can join us for the 2nd workshop. It will always be on the 3rd Wednesday of the month...

Last weeks Pentecost Messy Church ws great fun! Loads of crafts for everyone to do, from creating torch cakes, flame hand prints, a windsock, writing bow prayers for our specialfriends to addto the kites tail,making a ht and lots more. We enjoyed a worship time together where everyone shred what they had been doing.We then watched a Pentecost cartoon where they learnt all about the 1st Pentecost and that the Holy Spirit is like their friend and sent by Jesus.
We prayed together and shared a a yummy hot meal, before it was hometime.
Well done everyone. It was great to see you all. 🔥🥰👍

Everyone has a say at working out what we need to be doing in our Church, moving forward and into our community....
Our Future Story.
All ages. There will be chats,videos and sharing ideas.

And along with a hot meal for everyone.

This will be held every 3rd Wednesday evening of the month. Starting this Wednesday.

This week is jacket potatoes & fillings of:
Cheese
Beans
Chilli
