We believe, that as the church in this generation whose roots go deep into Celtic Christianity, we are called to the tasks of spiritual renewal among God's people, and proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in Llandeilo and the Tywi valley. We dedicate ourselves to the Gospel, to fellowship, prayer, worship and witness and to the service of others in our town. Credwn, fel yr eglwys yn y genhedl

aeth hon sydd â’i gwreiddiau’n ddwfn yng Nghristnogaeth Geltaidd, ein bod yn cael ein galw i orchwylion adnewyddiad ysbrydol ymhlith pobl Dduw, a chyhoeddi Newyddion Da Iesu Grist yn Llandeilo a dyffryn Tywi. Cysegrwn ein hunain i’r Efengyl, i gymdeithas, gweddi, addoliad a thystiolaeth ac i wasanaeth eraill yn ein tref.

Following our recent update on the restoration of the clock dial at St Teilo's Church, we'd like to share some of the other work that took place behind the scenes.
While the newly refurbished clock face is what most people will notice, the project also included the careful dismantling, servicing and rebuilding of the historic clock mechanism itself. Hidden away within the church tower, this remarkable piece of engineering has faithfully served the community for well over a century.
The clock holds a special place in the history of Llandeilo. It was presented to the town by David Pugh of Manoravon to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887.
The work was carried out by the specialist team from Cumbria Clock Company, whose expertise helped bring both the clock mechanism and dial back to their best.
This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity and support of so many people. The project was funded through a combination of community fundraising, grant funding, and a generous anonymous donor. To everyone who contributed, whether through donations, attending events, supporting funding applications or helping behind the scenes, thank you.
We're proud to have helped preserve not just a clock, but an important part of Llandeilo's heritage and a lasting reminder of the town's Victorian history.

We're delighted to share that the restoration and refurbishment of the clock dial on the tower of St Teilo's Church has now been successfully completed.
The project involved the careful removal, refurbishment and reinstatement of the clock dial, helping to preserve an important feature of our church and local community for years to come.
A special thank you goes to the skilled steeplejacks and the specialists from the Cumbria Clock Company, whose expertise and professionalism ensured the work was carried out safely and to a very high standard.
This project would not have been possible without the generous support of our community. Funding was secured through a combination of fundraising events, grant funding, and the kindness of an anonymous donor. We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed, whether through donations, attending events, supporting applications, or helping to spread the word.
The church clock has been a familiar landmark for generations, and we're pleased to see it restored to its former glory.
Thank you once again to everyone who helped make this project possible.

welcome Taliaris & Talley congregations and to enjoy our Church Choir singing under the batton of Andrew D. Forbes. A much enjoyable bring and share lunch was enjoyed by all with great fellowship. Thank you one and all. Diolch o galon ichi gyd. 💖💐

🔥🔥🔥PENTECOST 🔥🔥🔥🔥We like faith
when it stays manageable.

Neat. Quiet. Contained.

A candle lit gently.
A prayer whispered softly.
A hymn sung the way we’ve always sung it.

But Pentecost arrives
like the windows have been flung open
without warning.

Wind rushing through frightened hearts.
Fire dancing above ordinary people.
Voices rising louder than fear.

And suddenly
disciples who’d hidden away
are in the streets
speaking about Jesus
like the story matters too much
to keep to themselves anymore.

Not scholars.
Not the powerful.
Just ordinary people
set alight by the Spirit of God.

People who’d doubted.
People who’d failed.
People who’d run away when things became costly.

Yet God chose them anyway.

Because the Spirit doesn’t wait
for polished people
with perfect words and unwavering confidence.

The Spirit comes to real people.
To anxious people.
To weary people.
To people who still carry grief in their bones
and uncertainty in their stomachs.

And through wind and fire
and trembling voices
the good news travels.

Across languages.
Across barriers.
Across the spaces
we keep trying to divide into us and them.

Because the peace of Christ
isn't something to hide away
behind locked church doors
or careful conversations.

It moves.

Through kindness shared freely.
Through courage that surprises us.
Through invitations spoken awkwardly
but honestly.
Through people willing to say
this story changed me
and I think it might change you too.

Pentecost isn't a festival of standing still.

It is wind.
It is movement.
It is hearts catching fire again.

And in the noise and wonder of it all
God is still there
breathing life
into tired people,
and sending ordinary disciples
into the world
carrying the love of Christ in their hands.
