St Teilo's Church

St Teilo's Church St Teilo's church, Llandeilo, stands on a site where there has been Christian worship for nearly fifteen centuries.

We believe, that as the church in this generation whose roots go deep into Celtic Christianity, we are called to the tasks of spiritual renewal among God's people, and proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in Llandeilo and the Tywi valley. Art Practice is back!
Tuesday 8th September 1-3pm. St Teilo's Church, Llandeilo. With the legend that is A-D-F at the helm we are in for an exciting and educational journey this term. Do join us if you are at all interested in the arts, painting and creativity.

had a gathering in church this morning for refreshments and a walk through the churchyard to look at some of the important and interesting trees that are there. Led by tree expert and church member, Claire, we learned about how the trees are inspected every 2 years for safety. The aboriculturalist is please that the huge copper beech is gaining trunk width as it ages- a sign of good health. Also of note is the Scholar's Tree, ( Japanese Pagoda). It is flowering, which apparently it only does after long, hot summers.
Juno found it all very interesting, especially the pats and the all the different sticks.
