Such a lovely message from Micah thanking everyone who made a Foodbank donation at our harvest service. It’s our pleasure! Micah are a wonderful local charity that run projects to combat unemployment and deliver emergency food aid and affordable food. We always have a donations basket at our services if you ever wish to make a food donation. More info on how to donate can be found on their website: https://micahliverpool.com
Thank you so much for your recent Harvest donation to Micah Liverpool. Your faithful
food donations to Micah demonstrates much faithfulness and your generosity. This is
truly humbling. We relly couldnt corry out our work without your support.
Numbers ot our foodbonks remain consistent overall, with over 300 emergency food
parcels distributed within a collective 3 hour period. However, we do continue to see
more people telling us thot they are struggling at oll of our food spaces, including our
community markets. Be assured that your generous donations are appreciated by
many in the community who are struggling financially and may be experiencing
other social injustices. Mich's food and employment projects are continuing to
develop into community hubs where o ronge of wider support services can be offered
to help alleviate poverty and tackle social injustices.
As we move into the winter months, we continue to welcome ond value food
donations. We are also sharing information about Feeding Liverpool's Winter Boost
project, from which Micah benefits along with 5 other charities. The fund enables
Micah to buy fresh fruit and vegetables, often including ginger, garlic and lemon as a
way to support healthy eating. Further information can be found on Feeding
Liverpool's website https://www.justgiving.com/cmpign/winterboost26-27
With many thanks again for your continuing support. Please do let one of our team
know if you require further informotion at any time.
All at Micah
