Our prayer room is ready for the global week of prayer.

Come and pray from 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday this week.

We also have:

- Full night of prayer Monday 5pm - Tuesday 9am at home (sign up for hour slots)
- Evening of prayer and worship Wednesday 7.45pm at the hall
- Prayer walk around Old Swan/Stoneycroft starting Friday 10am at Old Swan Tesco car park

We are excited to be participating in the 24-7 Prayer global week of prayer next week. Our main hall will be transformed into a prayer room and will be open from Mon 7th - Thurs 10th September from 9-5pm. You can sign up for an hour slot to pray here: https://bit.ly/4quNUzG

We will also have an evening of praise & worship on Weds 9th Sept from 7.45pm and a morning of prayer walking from 10am on Friday 11th September (meet 10am in Tesco car park in Old Swan).

If you can't make any of these we will be having a continuous night of prayer from Mon 9th 5pm - Tues 10th 9am with people signing up to pray for an hour slot from home.

This Sunday we are thrilled to have cadet Tim Watch lead our worship at Stoneycroft. Tim is training to be an officer at William Booth and has been placed at Bootle corps for his summer placement.

Tim will finish our series looking at the five marks of mission of the Salvation Army, speaking on 'justice and reconciliation' from Matthew 25.31-46.

Please do come along to sit under Tim's ministry this Sunday - it promises to be a wonderful time of praise and worship!

Parachutes and Bubbles is back this Tuesday (and every Tuesday during term time) 9-10:30 🎉 Come along for free play, parachute games, nursery rhymes, puppet-powered stories from the Bible, and both hot and cold refreshments. Open to all preschoolers with an accompanying adult ☺️

Parachutes and Bubbles will be back on Tuesday August 25th in the *afternoon* for a holiday special. All children 0-4 with a parent/carer are welcome (even siblings during the holidays!). Then the usual morning slot of 9-10:30 will resume in September.

Come along for your first time; or for those who were here this year, we are genuinely looking forward to having some great Tuesdays again! Thanks to everyone who has made this happen ❤️

We are excited to invite you to the Divisional Candidate's Farewell meeting this Sunday from 3.30pm at Warrington Salvation Army where we will be celebrating God's calling on our corps member Samuel Taylor to begin training as an officer.

Samuel has been a great blessing to our fellowship over the past few years and while we will miss him greatly we are so excited for what God has in store for him as he begins his 'distance learner' cadet training at Basildon Corps in Essex and William Booth College in London from September. Please join us in praying for him as he takes this step and that God will empower and equip him (2 Timothy 3.17) for whatever He has in store.

We can offer lifts from Liverpool if required - let us know if this would be helpful.

This Sunday we will have our monthly all-age meeting looking at the command to love one another from 1 John 3.

Afterwards we will be having our annual church picnic in Newsham Park from 12pm onwards (here is the exact location if you would like to join: https://maps.app.goo.gl/LASrpavZgFToyubLA)

Please bring your own food and people are welcome to share if they want (we will not be checking food temperatures). We will have games and activities for all ages.

Hope to see you this Sunday from 10.30am onwards!
