We are very excited to be celebrating our 25th anniversary this Sunday and are delighted to be joined by our Divisional leaders, Majors Ian and Tracey Mountford in the morning from 10.30am who will be leading our celebration.

Liverpool Stoneycroft corps was founded in 2001 after the amalgamation of three Salvation Army expressions in Liverpool (see pictures in the comments from the opening 25 years ago).

We would love you to come and join us to celebrate if you're able - there might even be a cake afterwards too!

As we celebrate 25 years in the morning meeting we will have a focus on prayer for our evening meeting for the next 25 years from 6.30pm.

See you Sunday 10.30am.

We are thrilled to share that one of our members, Samuel, has been accepted to train as a Salvation Army officer next academic year!

We are so thankful for all Samuel has contributed to our church family and ask that you join us in praying for him as he takes this next step in his journey of following Jesus. 🙏

The Joseph Lappin festival is this Sunday! Everyone welcome! 😊

The 2026 Joseph Lappin Festival takes place on Sunday 31st May, 12pm–4pm at the The Joseph Lappin Centre.

The festival is one of the biggest events in the centre’s community calendar, bringing people together for an afternoon of live music, food and drink, children's activities, performances, community stalls, games and family fun. It's a celebration of community spirit and an opportunity for local people to come together, make new connections and enjoy a great day out.

For many attendees, the festival is also their first introduction to the support, activities and opportunities available at the Joseph Lappin Centre throughout the year. Services include a Food Pantry, fitness and wellbeing activities, gardening projects, family programmes, Memory Café, learning opportunities and wider community support.

It would be lovely to see you there!

This Sunday is Pentecost - an important time each year when we remember the pouring out of the Holy Spirit and we pray that God will continue pouring out his Spirit upon us.

We are thrilled to have Majors Jane and Marcus Mylechreest leading our morning and evening meetings.

We'd love to see you if you can make it - 10.30am or 6.30pm!

This Sunday we are continuing in our series looking at 'New Life' made possible through the resurrection by considering Romans 6.4 alongside the story of Lazarus being raised to life.

The morning meeting will be our monthly all-age service followed by our fellowship meal, so please do bring food/drink to share if you are able to (but don't worry if you can't - there's always lots to go around!)

Refreshments will be served from 6pm onwards before our evening meeting begins at 6.30pm.

Do come along Sunday 10.30am or 6.30pm! 🙂
