This verse describes someone whose relationship with God's Word has moved past obligation into genuine joy. 😀

Yesterday, we were visited by Ayo, the Pastor of Dynasty Church Lancaster, who reminded us how our bodies, our hearts and our lives are temples for the LORD. ✝️

He challenged and encouraged us to make sure that our hearts and our lives are pure and that we are seeking the transformative, sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts and lives as we seek to follow Jesus and make Him first in our lives, for ourselves, our families, our church, and our community.

How are our bodies a temple for the LORD?
This Sunday, we are taking a pause from our Autumn series in the book of Joshua, taking a look at how our bodies are a temple for the LORD. ✝️
But what does this mean? What does this look like? What is the role of the Holy Spirit in our bodies being temples for the LORD?
These are questions that we are going to be looking at on Sunday as we consider all that God desires for us in His relationship with us. He desires to dwell within us and see us living a righteous life for Him! 🙌
We should always desire a closer and deeper relationship with God as we grow in Him, as we walk with Him.

On Sunday, Francis encouraged us how God gives us incredible grace and mercy, and blessing too, when we make mistakes, make the wrong choices, getting things wrong IF we are repentant. ✝️
We can make better choices if we seek God and His way, His plans for our lives each and every day, following what He says and living a life that is pleasing to Him, being obedient.🙏

How do I know what is the right choice?
This Sunday, we are continuing our series in the book of Joshua in the Bible entitled, 'Taking Steps Of Faithful Obedience'. As we move on in the story, we see how Joshua and the people are deceived and end up making an agreement with people that they never should have done, making a bad choice.
As we look at this bad choice that the Israelites make, we see how the main error that they made in their choice is that they didn't choose to consult and ask God; they thought that they knew best and were complacent and self-reliant which meant they made an incorrect choice and one that was in disobedience to God.
We too need to be careful when we make decisions that we don't make them from a place of overconfidence or self-reliance, but instead make them in collaboration with God and seek His will and His plan; His choices for our life as they truly are the best ones! 🙏

Yesterday, Ade shared with us all about the gratitude of the 1 l***r who came back and said thank you to Jesus. 👏
Ade encouraged us to show our gratitude to God and the different ways that we can do that in response to everything that He has done for us on the cross in His sacrifice and salvation but also in the daily things and big things that He does for us in our lives.
