Children's Celebration Service, 31st May 2026.
Preacher: Bro Israel Onikeku.
Theme: I Am God’s Heritage. (Psalm 127:3)

Children are God’s heritage, meaning they are valuable, precious, and entrusted to adults by God. Children’s Day reminds us that children matter deeply to Him. A heritage is something valuable, protected, and passed on. Children must not be damaged, discouraged, compared, or handled carelessly.
God knew Jeremiah before birth. Even though Jeremiah felt too young, God still had a purpose for him. Children must not be limited by age, fear, or insecurity.
Jacob’s favouritism towards Joseph caused jealousy and division. Adults must avoid comparing children because every child is different. Children today face real pressures from school, social media, comparison, popularity, and bullying. Their struggles may look different from past generations, but they are still real.
Every child is fearfully and wonderfully made. Their value is not based on grades, talents, popularity, or achievements, but on God. Children need discipline, but they also need encouragement, listening ears, love, and safe spaces at home and in church. Children must be trained in the right way through love, discipline, prayer, and godly example. Children learn from what adults say and do.
If adults do not guide children with God’s word, other voices will try to shape them. Adults are stewards of God’s heritage and must protect, nurture, and point children back to God.
Children also have responsibilities: to obey their parents, honour God, respect others, be kind, tell the truth, and pray. What is poured into children today is what they may carry tomorrow. Let us pass down faith, love, wisdom, prayer, and identity in Christ.
Bro. I Onikeku.

Thanks for celebrating our Children.

Sunday Refocusing Service, 24th May 2026.
Preacher: Pastor Oluwafemi Onikeku.

Faith Through the Storms of Life.
God promises that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Even when facing trials, we can find peace by casting all anxieties on Him because He cares for them. The Holy Spirit provides power, love, and a sound mind, replacing fear with the ability to persevere through uncertainty.
God works all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Trials test faith, producing steadfastness that leads to spiritual maturity and completeness. By fixing our eyes on Jesus and running with perseverance, we can endure hardships with the confidence that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love
Our Lord Jesus Christ has engraved us on the palms of His hands, ensuring we are never erased from His memory. Even when we feel abandoned or overlooked, He sees every tear and hurt. He is constantly interceding for us at the right hand of the Father.
God’s promise is steadfast, meaning that no matter the trials or silence you experience, He remains with us and is actively working for our good. We are precious to Him, and He has a future of peace and hope for us all. You are invited to trust in His unfailing presence rather than your current circumstances. Jesus will revisit and restore the days eaten by cankerworms and caterpillars; what looked delayed will begin to move forward for good.
Jesus returns when hope is dying. When repeated hardship makes us derail from the promises of God, never conclude your story while Jesus Christ is present.
Jesus responds to persistent faith. Don't be discouraged; put your faith in Him. Temporary pain should not produce a permanent surrender in our lives. Jesus's word changes the atmosphere; one encounter with Him can change our entire situation. BE BLESSED.
Pastor F. Onikeku.

Refocusing Sunday Service 17th May 2026
Preacher: Deaconess Elizabeth Onikeku.
Theme: Understanding Safeguarding.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
Safeguarding means protecting people from abuse, neglect,
exploitation and harm. Creating safe environments, safe relationships and safe practice, listening to concerns and taking action early.
Church application: A safe church is not only a place of worship. It is a place where dignity is protected, concerns are heard, and harm is challenged.
Every person carries dignity before God. Scripture calls believers to
defend the vulnerable, protect children, act justly, and care for the
oppressed.
The whole-church safeguarding commitment:
A safe church is built by repeated effective habits. I will listen; I will take concerns seriously and never dismiss disclosures.
I will report; I will follow the safeguarding route and not investigate
alone. I will keep boundaries; I will use safe communication, safe touch and safe ministry practice.
I will protect dignity; I will treat every child, young person and adult at risk with respect.
I will keep learning; I will attend training, read policy and ask for advice when unsure.
I will speak up; I will challenge unsafe behaviour, even where it involves someone trusted.
Speak up, judge fairly, and defend the rights of the poor and needy. Lord, give us wisdom to protect, courage to speak,
compassion to support and integrity to act rightly.
