Everyone is welcome to come and see a music event of prayer and beautiful song with Archdeacon David Picken, Revd Graham Young (Vicar of Lancaster) and Lancaster Priory Choir.

12th/ 13th September

Saturday 12th
1.30pm l Choir in the City
Lancaster Priory Choir are performing in the city on the Plinth, Market Square. Come and hear amazing music!

Sunday 13th
8am I Holy Communion
A traditional eucharistic service in the quiet beauty of the Priory as the world wakes.

10am I Eucharist followed by Cake!
A family service in modern English. Everyone is welcome as we enjoy amazing music from the choir, children enjoy young church, we hear why Jesus is so important and celebrate in bread and wine. Afterwards you are welcome to enjoy our free cake event. Yum!

3pm | Wine and Nibbles
Please join us for some refreshment before Evensong.

4.30pm | Festal Evensong
Our amazing choir will be making Evensong extra special with pieces including Stanford in B flat and Britten Hymn to the Virgin, alongside some fantastic organ music. Come and be inspired praising the Lord!

6.30pm | Taizé Service
A beautiful quiet service of simple songs and reflection, a chance to meditate on the Lord and to be quiet. A wonderful way to end the day.
