Both churches are welcoming to all.

Do these weighing scales look balanced to you?

We look forward to welcoming our children and young people in Sunday Club tomorrow, which is part of our 10.30am Holy Communion at Fenstanton, kindly led by Rev Nigel di Castiglione.

Come along and discover how twigs, weighing scales and building blocks are connected for our bible reading...

We will explore what Jesus said about handling disagreement and how we as a church community can help balance the weighing scales🙏

If you were near the parish church today you might have spotted some work being carried out on the spire. A brave (imho) person using ladders and ropes was refixing the lightening conductor. Best to get in the professionals when doing something like this. This wasn't in my vicar training book lol 😆

It was lovely to celebrate communion at the high altar in St Mary's this morning now that the chancel area has been secured by netting to prevent masonry from falling to the ground. The altar was covered with a 'new to us' altar cloth, repurposed from a closed church elsewhere, and handmade many years ago by their churchwarden's mother. She handmade all their altar cloths and frontals.

This Sunday we celebrate the Patronal Festival for St Mary, with a service at St Mary's Church, Fen Drayton, at 10.30am....

This morning, in St Peter and St Paul Fenstanton, we thought about the feeding of the 5000, where Jesus said "you give them something to eat" and coincidentally we had cake with our after service refreshments...... happy birthday 🎂 Christine, and thank you for the lovely cakes.
