We’re Hiring – Church Administrator

St Francis of Assisi Church, Terriers

We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Church Administrator to join our team and help support the day-to-day life of our busy and welcoming parish.

This is a varied and important role, working closely with the Vicar and ministry team and helping with parish administration, communications, church records, hall and community activities, and the smooth running of the church office.

Hours: 12 hours per week – 3 hours per day over 4 days

Salary: £16.50 per hour

Location: St Francis of Assisi Church, Amersham Road, High Wycombe, HP13 5AB

Closing date for applications: 26 September 2026

Interviews: 1 October 2026

We would be delighted to hear from someone with strong administrative and communication skills who is friendly, dependable and would enjoy being part of the life of a local church and its wider community.

Something a little different is happening at St Francis this Sunday! 🧱😊

It’s our first Come As You Are – Lego Church, and we would love you to join us.

It’s church for everyone — children, adults, families, those who come every Sunday and those who haven’t been through a church door for years.

Come as you are. No expectations, no need to know what to do. Just come, be yourself, build some Lego, worship with us and discover together that there is a place for each of us in God’s family.

What an amazing three days at Little Lighthouse! 🌟🦋

Our church hall has been full of laughter, playing, singing, stories, creativity, and so much joy. It has been wonderful to welcome so many children, parents and carers and to see new friendships beginning to grow.

A huge thank you to our fantastic team who gave their time, energy and love to make these three days so special. ❤️

There is so much to thank God for, and we pray that the friendships and connections made this week will continue to grow.
