Wycombe Islamic Mission and Mosque Trust has as its main objective the promotion of the religion of Islam in High Wycombe through peaceful and appropriate means which it has done successfully. Its purposes are to provide a place of worship for Muslims in High Wycombe by providing suitable facilities; the advancement of education connected to Islam and teaching of the Holy Qurโ€™an, Islamic studies a

nd various languages to children, women and local Muslim community. Further to provide a place for religious festivals, weddings, funerals and the performance of all other Islamic rituals. Moreover, the promotion of brotherhood within the Muslim community as well as to promote interaction and friendly relations with members of others faiths and all residents of High Wycombe is an underlying purpose. Imam Sultan Mahmood Al-Azhari has been the Imam in the mosque since its opening. Educated in the UK, Pakistan and Egypt, he is fluent in Arabic, English and Urdu.

Alhamdulillah, an amazing and truly blessed Mawlid gathering was held on Sunday, 30th August at Totteridge Mosque. We were honoured to welcome well over 100 sisters, gathered together in love of our beloved Prophet ๏ทบ.

A heartfelt Jazakallahu Khayran to every sister who attended, and especially to all those who contributed to the gathering by hosting, assisting throughout the event, delivering speeches, reciting the Qurโ€™an, Naโ€™ats and the Qasidah Burdah. May Allah Almighty accept every word recited and every effort made.

May Allah Almighty accept this blessed gathering, increase us all in the love of His Beloved Prophet ๏ทบ, and continue to unite us in gatherings of ุฎูŠุฑ. Ameen. ๐Ÿคฒ

On Thursday 20th August 2026, Totteridge Mosque and Micklefield Mosque came together to host a youth football tournament, bringing our young people together for an afternoon of faith, learning, sport and brotherhood.

The programme began with Dhuhr Salah in congregation, followed by an important discussion on contemporary issues surrounding social media, relationships and Islam.

The young people then took to the pitch for an exciting afternoon of football, before finishing with pizza and refreshments.

A huge JazakumAllahu Khayran to everyone who helped make the programme possible, those who supported and worked behind the scenes, those who donated drinks and refreshments, and everyone who contributed in any way.

A special thank you to Sbtb Coaching for taking the lead on the football side of the programme and helping make the tournament a success.

May Allah Almighty grant us sincerity, accept the efforts of everyone involved, bless our young people and allow us to continue creating opportunities that bring faith, community and brotherhood together. Ameen ๐Ÿคฒ
