This Sunday we're beginning Part 1 of our next preaching series based on the Sermon on the Mount, from Matthew's gospel. The Sermon on the Mount contains some of Jesus' most challenging teaching on a range of topics that feel as relevant today as they did 2,000 year ago. Something a little different this Sunday...
🙏PARISH PRAYER WALK 🙏
Our regular 9.30am Parish Eucharist is running as normal this weekend, but then at 11.15am we're organising a Parish Prayer Walk (in place of our usual Family Celebration service).

⏱️Meet at the church building at 11.15am (be on time!)
🥾 Join one of several guided prayer walks around the parish of Sands and Castlefield
👪 Child-friendly and accessible walking routes catering for all ages
🦽 'Stay and Pray' group remaining on site for those unable to manage the walking

We'll be gathering for one combined worship service to hear about the vision and priorities we believe God has given to us for the coming season. We'll also be holding our church Annual Meeting - electing people to key roles, receiving an update on our finances and reflecting on the highlights of the last year and what's the come.
All followed by lunch. See you there!

Still We Rise is a support group for parents and carers of neurodivergent or SEND children - a space for friendship, sharing and practical support. Join us on Easter Sunday as we celebrate the greatest day in history - the resurrection of Jesus Christ!
For the early risers, we have a Dawn Service (followed by breakfast) at 6.15am. Then at 10.30am we have an all-age Family Celebration. We'd love to see you!
