This Sunday we will be having the return of our EPYC Sunday Youth Church!

This is our monthly Youth Church for children and young people of all ages where we gather from 10:30-11:30am in the Carswell Centre and spend time together with food, friendship, and dive deeper into faith!

We always start with a shared breakfast before we split into our age groups to learn more about the Bible and what it means to be a Christian through games, crafts, songs, stories, and more

At the end of the session we put up our Bouncy Castle while Tea, Coffee, and Juice is served as we share in fellowship with the rest of the church post service! Everyone is welcome and it's a great chance to have a chat and catch up with others.

Our EPYC Youth Group for P6-S6 will be returning this Sunday the 30th August! EPYC runs on Sundays from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm in the Carswell Center following the School Holiday Timetable.

There is loads of fun to be had each week as young people have the chance to hang out in the Youth Base playing Table Tennis or games like Mario Kart on our new Switch 2, or they can gather with some friends to play a variety of board and card games in the Hub, and we also have more sporty games in the upper hall too for those who would prefer to run around!
We also like to do activities as a larger group like playing games, competing in different sports, or even baking.
We also take time every week to have hot chocolate and snacks before gathering together to explore and discuss the Bible and the Christian faith in interactive and engaging ways.

Some weeks we like to deviate from the usual structure and do theme nights like Taskmaster, movie nights, Nerf fights, and more! We also sometimes meet outside of the usual Sunday group such as having fundraisers, going on group trips, or just trying something new.

What an amazing first day for our "Fit for a King" holiday club!

From King Calum and Fitness Finn keeping us on our toes, and loads of fun with our games, crafts, and messy challenges, we learnt all about the story of Zacchaeus and how King Jesus accepts everyone and helps us on the right path!

Happy "Tune Tuesday" everyone! I hope you're ready for another new recommendation to add to your weekly listens!

This week our song is "Where would I be" by Peter Burton. Another newer tune that I've had playing a lot recently and is a great reminder to worship and be thankful for all God gives us! A fun and upbeat tune, I cant recommend going to have a listen enough!

Happy "Tune Tuesday" everyone! We are back with another worship music reccomendation!

Our song this week is "Alleluia" by Elevation Worship, a new 2026 release I head for this first time this past week and has been stuck in my head and is a great reminder that worship can be a celebration and filled with so much joy especially with the line:

"I came to praise
That’s why I woke up today"

Our song this week has been chosen by one of our worship leaders Fiona McCrae, who has chosen to share the song "My heart is full of thankfulness" by Stuart Townend and covered by Sovereign Grace Music.

We used some of this song during our Sunday service where we also had our prizegiving for the church youth and thought more about gratitude for our gifts

Happy "Tune Tuesday" everyone! Hope you are ready for another week of worship music!

Our song choice this week is "Days of Elijah" by Robin Mark

A throwback to the late 90's this week, It has been a long time since I last heard this song but when it came up in my recommended listens the lyrics really resonated with me, and I caught myself humming the song as I was going about my week.

The lyrics "And though these are days of great trial, of Famine and darkness and sword" feel like they resonate still today when there is so much conflict and struggle in the world, however we are reminded that "we are the voice in the desert crying "prepare ye the way of the Lord!""

Ultimately the song is a call for us to have hope, and to share the good news of the gospel!
