The Tron Church

The Tron Church We take the Bible seriously since in it God’s voice is proclaimed and heard today, with clarity and power. Our priority is to open it and hear him speak.

Our church is part of the worldwide family united by the cross of Jesus. Students, young workers, families and older saints, from many nationalities and all walks of life — we are all one in Christ Jesus. From the heart of the city, our mission is to proclaim Christ here, throughout Glasgow, and to the world. Because of this, we take the Bible seriously, since in it God’s voice is proclaimed and h

eard today, with clarity and power. So our priority is to open it, and hear him speak, wherever and whenever we can. Whether you are new to Glasgow, just visiting, or want to explore Christianity for the first time, we’d love you to join us.

Good Friday Music and Meditation on the Cross

‘This, the power of the cross:
Christ became sin for us;
took the blame, bore the wrath -
we stand forgiven at the cross.’

As we considered the Apostle Peter’s message on the cross last evening, what great reassurance it is, knowing that the blood of Jesus shed on the cross has the power to bring not only rescue to mankind, but also, restoration to the world.

Why not come join us this Easter Sunday 10am at all three of our locations, and 5pm at Tron Kelvingrove for our Music and Meditation on the Resurrection service? We would love for you to come hear and find out what the real hope and meaning that Easter is all about. ☺️

Who Could You Bring?

The Life Course is a five week introduction to the Christian faith. The next one starts on Monday 20 April. Here is what one recent attendee had to say about it:

‘I was invited along to the life course by one of my best friends and as someone who has grown up as a complete non-believer in Jesus, I had pretty much nothing to loose. The scariest part was walking in the door, but the minute I arrived I was greeted by the friendliest people. I really enjoy that at the Life Course, there’s time to mingle and get to know people, especially as someone who was so new to the church. Everyone is just so friendly and welcoming. The same goes for coming along on Sundays. I was pretty apprehensive at first but everyone is so lovely and you are never sitting alone for long - someone will always come and say hello!

Life Course takes you through the absolute fundamentals of Christianity and is a great place for people new to church to start. I had no idea what being a ‘Christian’ even truly meant. But spending time looking into Jesus’ life death and resurrection has taught me so much. I think people often assume everyone knows the ‘basics’ but we don’t!

The Life Course is a great place to start for someone with little to no prior church experience. It’s very informal and welcoming, and the people are all absolutely amazing. I felt at home very quickly, which gave me the time and space to explore faith in an environment where I could ask questions and learn. Being given this opportunity to explore Christianity has been life changing for me and can now see Jesus at work in my own life. Thinking back to before the Life Course, I never thought that I could become a Christian. But it just goes to show that you never know unless you explore the possibility.’

Students Weekend Away 2026 - The Ordinary Christian

Give thanks for a fun and fruitful time of teaching and fellowship last weekend at our Release the Word (students and young workers) weekend away in Stirling! It was a joy to have Dominic Fisher, pastor of Grace Church, Dundee this year teaching on the ordinary Christian life - Identity, Purpose, Assurance, and Service.

Do pray that our students and young workers would indeed be encouraged to live out what they’ve learnt this past week, as they continue to walk in the obedience of faith, going on to maturity in Christ!

If you’re a student or young worker in Glasgow, then why not come along this Sunday and join us at church? We meet at 10am at all three of our locations, and again at 5pm at our Kelvingrove building. We hope to welcome you along then! ☺️
