In continental Europe ICS's ministry also touches the lives of increasing numbers of Europeans who speak English. We are also an Anglican pat

ronage society, recruiting ministers to serve in many of the international Anglican churches we partner, and whose buildings we often own. We work mainly in continental Europe and around the Mediterranean and are funded entirely by donations from individuals, churches and trusts that share our aims. Grace Anglican Church Groningen and NW Europe Archdeaconry: For students and teachers dealing with exams, concluding research projects and preparing for thesis defences and graduations, pray for the Lord to guide and protect them and to call them to serve in new ways. Please pray for St John and St Philip’s The Hague: Katherine will be ordained at the end of the month and begins her curacy. We pray for her and for the good working of the ministry team: Chaplain Michael and Assistant Chaplain Chris, with Stuart as future Ordinand and the Congregational Worship leaders Mark, Emma and Thérèse. This June is a time of transition for us as our Chaplain Michael Roden retires after forty-one years of ordained ministry. We wish him every joy as he begins this new chapter.

St James Voorschoten: Pray for our sermon series on the book of James. Our church weekend takes place the first weekend of July, please pray for all the final preparations for this weekend of teaching and fellowship, and for our mission partners Rahman and Nelleke as they lead the teaching sessions. We give thanks for Logan Liut, our MES intern this past year, who is returning to Canada to pursue further studies. Pray for the various discipleship groups that are meeting this month: Freedom in Christ, Youth Discipleship Group, Men’s Breakfast, and the Evergreen’s Lunch (5).

Please pray for Christ Church Rio de Janeiro: For our youth work to continue to grow and thrive; that God would raise up more youth team and youth leaders.

St Peter’s Viña del Mar and St Paul’s Valparaiso: Pray for Bishop Sammy Morrison as he leads these churches with well-attended services at St Peter’s, an enthusiastic Sunday school, and bible studies that are held both online and in-person. Please continue to pray for our outreach, to encourage more people to join our church. For the older members of our community: that they may receive care, companionship, and affection, and that as a church we may honour their lives, listen to them, and support them with love.

Please pray for Christ Church Cathedral Stanley: We pray for all those who are suffering from the effects of war and conflicts around the world. We bring to mind those who selflessly gave their lives for the Islanders’ right of self-determination and for those who continue to visit our shores in remembrance. We pray for the upcoming year and newly elected cathedral council, that together we may continue to answer God’s calling here in the Parish of the Falkland Islands.
