Yesterday, we deployed our 767 cargo plane to Nepal carrying life-saving supplies for those affected by the recent catastrophic flooding.

The Samaritan's Purse Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) on the ground will be working with trusted partners to get these items into the hands of families in need.

Our Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief specialists are on their way to Nepal to serve in Jesus’ Name after this week’s catastrophic flash floods.

We’re working alongside trusted Christian partners we served with following the region’s 2015 earthquake, bringing practical help and the hope of Jesus Christ.

📦 Our 767 cargo plane is scheduled to airlift tonnes of critical relief supplies to Kathmandu next week, including:
🔹 Heavy-duty tarps
🔹 Solar lights
🔹 Hygiene kits
🔹 Blankets

These supplies will help people who are suffering begin to recover and rebuild.

We are sending Samaritan's Purse disaster relief specialists to Nepal to work with our partners on the ground and provide urgently needed relief supplies for suffering families hit hardest by the sudden landslide and catastrophic floods this week. We previously worked in this area after the 2015 earthquake there. We are preparing to distribute emergency food, as well as send an airlift with tarps, blankets, solar lights, hygiene kits, and more. Over 500 people are now confirmed dead, with more than 1,000 still missing. Pray for our teams, those suffering from this disaster, and the rescue workers searching the area for survivors.

Please join us in praying for families in Nepal who are suffering in the aftermath of catastrophic flash floods that swept through communities along the Nepal-Tibet border. 🙏

Ask God to bring peace and comfort to those who are grieving, searching for missing loved ones, or waiting anxiously for news—including the many tourists and foreign nationals still unaccounted for. Please also pray for His protection over rescue teams as they work through difficult conditions to save lives and reach those still missing.

A newly-formed lake in the region continues to rise, raising fears of a second flood surge. Please pray for the safety of residents and rescue workers still in the area, and for the danger to pass without further loss of life.
