Samaritan’s Purse is hard at work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as the Ebola outbreak spreads.

Team members have already installed more than 50 handwashing stations and are providing education to thousands on how to prevent disease transmission.

Today, we distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) to our partner hospital in Nyankunde to help protect their staff as they fight the deadly virus. We are also working to establish an Ebola Treatment Center to provide hands-on patient care.

Please pray for the Samaritan’s Purse doctors, nurses, infectious disease specialists, and disaster response staff serving in Jesus’ Name amid the deadly Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Pray for God’s protection over our teams and for His peace and comfort to reach those who are suffering and afraid. May every patient and family encounter the love and hope of Christ during this difficult time.

Samaritan's Purse is responding to the deadly Ebola outbreak that is wreaking havoc on families across the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and surrounding areas.

So far, we have airlifted Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and an Ebola Treatment Center (ETC) onboard our 767-cargo plane.

Additionally, our team of doctors, nurses, and medical personnel on the way to help prevent infection and spread of the deadly Ebola virus. The current response will be similar to our 2018 deployment to the same nation in which we treated more than 600 patients.

Yesterday, we airlifted an Ebola Treatment Center (ETC) and personal protective equipment (PPE) onboard our 767 cargo plane to help save lives as the virus continues to spread.

This morning, our 767 cargo plane departed for Central Africa, with various supplies onboard including an Ebola Treatment Center (ETC) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which will be transported to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Please pray for a safe flight, an end to this deadly outbreak, and for our disaster response teams as they prepare to care for those suffering.

Samaritan’s Purse is preparing an airlift for the Democratic Republic of the Congo in response to the deadly Ebola outbreak.

This weekend, our 767 cargo plane will carry an Ebola Treatment Center (ETC) and personal protective equipment (PPE) to help keep healthcare workers safe and provide care to those who are suffering with the virus.

The 767 will land in Uganda then supplies will be transported to the Democratic Republic of the Congo where many people are in need.

Fear and uncertainty is increasing in Central Africa as the virus spreads. We are responding in Jesus' Name to help fight this outbreak and remind families they are not alone.
