💒🪨 Through our last Sunday service, Jesus reminds us that two people can hear the same words, build houses that look the same, and appear to be doing the same thing, but when the storm comes, the foundation is revealed.

When our foundation is Jesus, we can have peace even when we don’t know what comes next. We can stand with faith and courage because we know that God is still sovereign and still on His throne.

Our calling is simple: hear His Word, believe His Word, trust Him, and do what He says.

Does Christ know you? 🫀

We had a wonderful sermon this past Sunday as we went deep into the parable of the ten virgins. Our elder Steve reminded us of the urgency of Christ’s return and the importance of having a genuine, living faith, not a borrowed faith or an outward appearance of readiness.

Here is a portion of what he shared:

“The question is not simply whether you are near Christians, attend church, know all the songs, or even expect Jesus to return. The question is whether Christ knows you. You cannot borrow the faith of your spouse, your parents, or your pastor when the cry goes out.

The door is still open today. Don’t wait to repent of your sin. Trust in Christ and live as one who is ready to meet Him. And if you truly belong to Him, don’t live in panic. The Shepherd who knows His sheep will keep them. Nothing will separate them from His love.

But also, don’t live without diligence and readiness for Christ’s return. Are you ready? Take hold of that living faith. Seek that living faith and prepare as if He is coming soon.”
