Conference Speaker Spotlight:

Nate Wright is the Senior Pastor of Crossroads Bible Church and the Canadian Director of the Ezra Institute. He is a Christian leader, theologian and cultural apologist, and has worked in Christian ministry and church leadership in Canada for over fifteen years.

While acquiring a Bachelors degree in English Literature and minoring in Cultural Studies at Western, Ontario, he came to faith in Christ through campus outreach ministry where God birthed in him a great passion for evangelism and apologetics. Nathanael went on to work as a youth pastor while pursuing his theological studies at Emmanuel Bible College and McMaster University. After several years in this role, he was apprenticed at West London Alliance Church in Ontario and then accepted his first senior pastorate at Crossroads Bible Church in Ingersoll, Ontario, in 2013 which has grown to about 1,000 people under his care.

Nate and his wife Colleen live in London, Ontario. They have four children.

Conference Speaker Spot Light:

Pastor Tom Ascol has served as a Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, Florida since 1986, and serves as the President of Founders Ministries, Founders Seminary, and The Institute of Public Theology. He has a BS degree in sociology from Texas A&M University (1979) and has also earned the MDiv and PhD degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. He has also edited, contributed to, and authored several books. Tom regularly preaches and lectures at various conferences throughout the United States and other countries. In addition, he regularly contributes articles to the Founders website and hosts a weekly podcast called The Sword & The Trowel. He and his wife Donna have six children along with four sons-in-law and a daughter in law. They have twenty-one grandchildren.

Since 2010, we've brought students from the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University to church each Sunday via our bus ministry. Over those 16 years, hundreds upon hundreds of students have come through our doors, worshiped with us during their university years, and many have even settled in the area upon graduation and joined the church long-term.

As university campuses continue to drift further away from the truth of God's Word and the good news of Jesus, we have been praying for God to increase our reach on campus. We want to be a shining light in the darkness.

God has been answering that prayer! Recently, three university students were saved by God's grace and baptized at Trinity as a public proclamation of their new faith in Christ. Here are a couple of the baptisms.

We praise God for this and we pray for more!

As university students head back to campus this September, would you pray alongside of us that God would continue to grow this ministry and use it for the salvation of souls?

Parents are the primary disciplers of their children. God calls parents to bring up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).

As a church, we care about families and desire to come alongside of parents as they seek to disciple and educate their children.

Whether you choose to homeschool your children or send them to a Christian school, we are here to help!

The Homeschool Collective, our homeschooling ministry, exists to support, encourage, and equip families who desire to homeschool, with excellence, to the glory of God the Father. Our main focus is to invest into the lives of homeschool moms so that they are better equipped to teach their children, all to the glory of God. In the past we have run concerts, mini-conferences, sporting events, graduation ceremonies, choir practices, and more! Many families in the church are involved in this important ministry.

King Alfred Academy, our classical Christian school, exists to glorify God by giving children a classical and Christ-centred education that equips them for a life of learning, excellence, wisdom, discipline and virtue. We aspire to graduate generations of biblically informed young men and women who have a heart for the community, the ability to radically influence the culture for Christ, the courage to take a stand for the truth and the faith to believe that with God, all things are possible.
