Welcome to Day 1 of our October 5 Days of Prayer & Fasting!

October is our MONTH OF MOMENTUM, and we are beginning this month by seeking God intentionally and confronting anything that has kept us spiritually, personally or purposefully stagnant.

Momentum speaks of movement, progress and advancement.

There are seasons when God tells us to wait, but there are also seasons when God says, “You have stayed here long enough.”
We are positioning ourselves spiritually to move with Him.

Deuteronomy 1:6–7
“You have stayed long enough at this mountain… Break camp and advance…”

DAY 1 — BREAKING STAGNATION & STEPPING INTO MOMENTUM

Israel had been at the mountain by God's direction. But the same God who brought them there eventually told them it was time to move.
Sometimes the issue is not that we are in the wrong place. We have simply remained in a place, pattern, mindset or season longer than God intended.

Today, our prayer is: Lord, wherever You are moving, don't let me remain behind.

Exodus 14:15
“Tell the Israelites to move on.”

The Red Sea was still in front of them when God commanded them to move.
There are moments when we cannot wait until everything makes sense before taking the next step. Momentum often begins with obedience.

PRAY:
1. Father, reveal every area of stagnation in my life. Show me where I have settled, become comfortable, discouraged or stopped progressing.
2. Lord, break every cycle that has kept me going around the same mountain. Every repeated pattern, limitation and resistance to progress—let it break in Jesus' name.
3. Father, give me courage to move when You say move. Deliver me from fear, procrastination, excuses and the need to have everything figured out before I obey.
4. Lord, go before me and break every barrier resisting God-ordained progress in my life, family, calling and assignment.
5. Father, let this month produce tangible movement. Where there has been delay, let there be progress. Where there has been resistance, let there be breakthrough. Where things have been dormant, breathe upon them again.

DECLARE:
I have stayed at this mountain long enough.
I refuse stagnation.
I refuse unnecessary delay.
I release what is behind me.
I receive courage to obey God.
I will move when He says move.
I will press toward what is ahead.
By the help of the Holy Spirit, I am gaining momentum.
October will produce progress in my life.
I AM MOVING FORWARD!
In Jesus' name.
Amen!

10/01/2026

This month, we are moving forward with faith, intention and expectation. What God has begun, we will not abandon. What He has placed in our hands, we will steward. And where He is leading, we will follow.

No stagnation. No unnecessary delay. It’s time to move forward!
May October bring fresh strength, divine acceleration and grace to keep moving in the direction God has called us.

Welcome to our Month of Momentum!
