Happy Sabbath.

On Friday, I visited the Etobicoke General Hospital foot clinic in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦. I've been going there on a regular basis since my surgery over a year ago. One of the things I do on every visit is to take a picture from the same window to capture the sunrise 🌅.

Over the months I noticed the changing position of the sun in the sky. From my position from the forth (4th) window of the foot clinic, I observed the amazing 👏 design of our wonderful Creator who created the earth 🌎 and positioned it on an axis in empty space. The tilt of the axis changes the earth's 🌎 distance from the sun, and creates the seasons. As a result, we experience Winter and Summer in the Northern and Southern hemispheres.

A small shift in the tilt of the earth's 🌎 axis will result in permanent Winters or Summers in both hemispheres. Job 26:7 tells us that, "He (God) stretches out the north over empty space; He (God) hangs the earth 🌎 on nothing." Science have proven that space is indeed empty and there is nothing holding the earth 🌎 in it's orbit around the sun☀️.

Many question why is the Seventh-day Sabbath unchangeable or how and why it hasn't changed. You see the same God that "stretched out the north in empty space" and "hung the earth 🌎 on nothing," Blessed and made the Sabbath day Holy during the creation of the planet earth 🌏. As a result, as long as the earth 🌎 remains, so will the Seventh-day Sabbath remain the same.

Join me this unchanging Seventh-day Sabbath. Let us praise 👏 and worship 🙌 our unchanging Creator, Saviour and soon coming King. He invites us to be anchor in His love ❤️ and Sabbath, the same way He holds the earth 🌎 in orbit and on it's axis. We can be certain that the earth 🌎 will not be move out of it's place, neither will His Seventh-day Sabbath.

Happy Sabbath.

I love ❤️ how Peaceful a frozen, snow ❄️ covered lake appears during the winter. No waves. No movement. Perfectly smooth. Very peaceful.

If you looked at the news this month, you hear and see that we have lost peace ✌️. It feels like the war with Iran will expand and consume the whole world 🌎. It appears that we are all involved at one level or the other. The war is affecting you from the grocery store to the gas ⛽️ pump.

Jesus, the Creator, offers peace in a way that might not be obvious at first glance. In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Whoa, Jesus the Prince of Peace, is offering His Peace. As the Creator and Eternal God, knows the beginning to the end. He is in control of the future and promises that all things will be restored to the perfect condition He created it. That's a Peace ✌️ you can rely on.

The Seventh-day Sabbath gives us a taste of that Peace, which God offers. A 24 hours period from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. A time that we can turn off the world 🌎 and focus on the Prince of Peace. A time ⏲️ to focus on our Creator. A time to be at Peace with our fellow man and God our Creator. A time ⏲️ to be at Peace, the Peace that Jesus offers in John 14:27.

Join me this Sabbath day, as we remove ourself from the wars around us, on TV 📺, radio 📻 and the news 📰 online. Let us come and bath in the Peace that the Seventh-day Sabbath offers, as we worship our loving Creator, the Prince of Peace who offers us a Peace we can not get from the world 🌎.

Happy Sabbath.

Winters can be overwhelming. The extreme cold 🥶 temperatures. The mountains of snow ❄️. The layers of clothing to keep warm. The icy 🧊sidewalks and roads. Then something miraculous happens in the middle of winter, a thaw. The weather changes, the ice 🧊 and snow ❄️ melts.

It appears that God gives us hope in the middle of the darkest and coldest part of the winter. It reminds us that this dark, cold, icy condition will not last forever. We look forward to that winter thaw. In Ontario, most students look forward to March Break, in concert with the thaw.

David experienced the same utopia with God's Commandments. David wrote in Psalms 119:47-48, "And I will delight myself in Your commandments, Which I love."

God's Commandments should be our delight. Jesus said to him, “You shall love ❤️ the Lord your God with all your heart ❤️, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ Matthew 22:37

One of the ways of showing our love to God is Remembering His Seventh-day Sabbath, that was instituted at the end of the six (6) day of Creation of our planet Earth 🌏.

Keeping the Seventh-day Sabbath, Recognizes God as the Creator of the heavens and the earth 🌎. It Acknowledges that God Blessed and made the Seventh-day of Creation Holy. It Appreciates God desire to commune with us, His Creation on a weekly basis.

Join me this Seventh-day Sabbath, as we Recognize, Acknowledge, and Appreciate our loving ❤️ Creator, Saviour and soon coming King. Let us delight in His Commandments, as we come together ❤️ in worship and praise our wonderful Creator.

Happy Sabbath.

In Canada 🇨🇦, in the winter, it is cold enough to freeze ponds and lakes. The ice can be to so thick, that it is not only safe to walk🚶‍♂️and skate⛸️on but can be used as roads that vehicles 🚗can drive on. Not only that but frozen lakes can become a center of activity for many communities. They can be transformed into centers of activities like hockey 🏒 rinks, use for ice skating ⛸️, sledding, ice-fishing 🎣 and many more.

God intended the Sabbath to be a center of activity. The Sabbath should be a day of blessing 🙌and a day to bless 🙌 others. Those scared 24 hours, are to be used to show others God's love ❤️, just like Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath did. Jesus went about healing and giving hope to those who were hopeless on the Sabbath. Jesus was alive on the Sabbath. Jesus touched humanity on the Sabbath.

In Mark 2, the Pharisees accused Jesus and His disciples of doing what they considered to be unlawful on the Sabbath. Jesus had healed and His disciples had plucked grain as they enjoyed a nature walk in the fields on the Sabbath. Jesus, the Creator said to them, in Mark 2:27-28, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”

Those scared 24 hours, from sunset 🌅 on Friday evening to sunset 🌅 Saturday evening are to be a time of renewal, rejoicing, a Blessing 🙌to you and those around you. God intended the Sabbath to be a reflection of His love ❤️ for humanity. Our Creator, desires to spend time with us, that's why He Blessed 🙌and made the Seventh-day Holy, at the end of the week of creating the earth 🌎.

Join me this Seventh-day Sabbath, as we come into the presence of our loving ❤️ Creator, to be Blessed 🙌, so we can go out and bless 🙌others around us. That we can be like that frozen lake, a center of blessing to our community and others, around us.

Happy Sabbath!

In Canada, most Municipalities require you to clear a path or the sidewalk in front of your property, 24 hours after a snow ❄️ fall. No matter the amount of snow, as a home owner, it's your responsibility. Clearing the snow ❄️ off the sidewalk and making a path, protects you from liability, if anyone slips or falls on the sidewalk in front of your property.

Got me thinking 🤔, is that what God intended the Sabbath to be, a liability protection plan for humanity? Did God know that humans needed rest to be at their optimum health? Did God understand that we are safer when we are connected to Him, our Creator?

Psalms 119:34-35, says, "Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it."

The truth is, in our own wisdom, the Sabbath REST makes no sense. A wasted day! A day of doing nothing! However, in reality, it's refreshing 😌, renewing 😊 and reconnecting❣️💕 with the source of love, life and happiness 😊.

The Sabbath was intended to be a delight. God's Ten Commandments are the Path to true happiness, as we connection with God, our Creator and our fellow human beings.

The Seventh-day Sabbath rest, stimulates and regenerates our mind, body and our spirit, as we connect with God, our Creator and fellowship with our family and friends in worship 🙏 and praise 👏.

Join me this Sabbath, as we come together ❤️ in worship🙏and praise to our loving and thoughtful Creator, that provided a mechanism in His Seventh-day Sabbath for our protection, renewal and regeneration.

Happy Sabbath.

I love ❤️ sunsets. The vibrant colours 🌈 as the sun descends into the horizon 🌎 and the angle of sun's rays of light penatrate the atmosphere and clouds ⛅️ causing the light to refract 🌈 and defuse 🌈 an array of magnificent colours 🌈.

Many believe that sunset 🌇 is the end of the day but Genesis 1:5, says "God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day."

You see, before God started His work of Creation, Genesis 1:2 tells us that, "darkness was on the face of the deep." God started by creating light 🌈. Yes, the full spectrum of colours. It must have been magnificent, coming from darkness into light. Evening or darkness first.

So it was dark first then light. That's why we start the celebration 🙌 of the Seventh-day Sabbath at the sunset 🌇 of the sixth day of the week. The "evening and the morning" make a complete day from Creation, same as the Sabbath.

Plan to begin the Seventh-day Sabbath at sunset 🌇 on Friday evening. The sixth day is called the Preparation day. You finish all your work and prepare to REMEMBER and REST on the Sabbath.

Are you burnt out? Are you dries up like this cucumber 🥒 plant. Once you had the energy and full of life. Once you were green and bearing fruit. Now you feel exhausted and defeated. Each day feels like a treadmill, you get up and go through the same routine, day in and day out.

God does have a way for you to regain balance and get connected again. Help you to feel alive, find that energy and passion you once experienced.

It's His, Seventh-day Sabbath REST.

Yes in Exodus 20:8-11, God, tells us to “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9]Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
[10]but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
[11]For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

The Seventh-day Sabbath not only gives you physical and mental rest but it reconnects you to our loving 💕 Creator, Who, Blessed 🙌 and made the Seventh-day Sabbath Holy 🙏. God promise🤲 Blessings 🙌 , if you obey and honor 🙏 His Sabbath day, by recognizing ❤️ Him, as the Creator of the heavens🌟 and the earth🌎.

What do you have to lose? Take a break, enjoy the Sabbath REST, designed by your Creator for you to spend time to reconnect with Him, the source of life ❤️, your family 👪 and friends ❤️.

God exists outside of time and our introduction to God was in Genesis 1:2 "The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters." Until that moment, nothing existed. Day one.

Just like the fountain ⛲️ creates ripples in pond at the park, the Spirit of God is still moving through time ⏲️⏳️⏲️, today.

God is still calling us, to REMEMBER that monumental day when He, God finished what He started on Day one, creating the earth 🌎, it's competition on Day six, and celebration on the Day seventh, called The Sabbath, when He rest from all His work creating earth 🌎.

That same Spirit that moved on Day one, that same God that created everything in six days, is calling you to join Him, in a time of REST and REMEMBRANCE, every week, on His Holy Seventh-day Sabbath.

Come now, let us, you and me, join together ❤️ in rest, worship and appreciation, to and of, our loving ❤️ Creator, on His Holy, Seventh-day Sabbath.
