What an absolute whirlwind of a first day at Beth Radom Hebrew School! 🙌🎉
We kicked off the year this past Sunday by welcoming a record-breaking 10 new families to our growing community! We are so thrilled to have you join the Beth Radom Congregation family. ❤️

For our first adventure, our students stepped into some pretty big boots and became Jewish Indiana Joneses! 🤠✨
Our young explorers conducted a full hands-on archaeological dig to uncover a hidden treasure: a broken ancient oil lamp. After carefully excavating the pieces, they put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test to reassemble the broken shards. The ultimate prize? Getting to examine a real, authentic Hasmonean oil lamp up close!
🏺 Why are we learning about archaeology and oil lamps on day one? We aren't giving away the secret just yet! You’ll have to keep following our adventures all school year long to find out where this journey takes us next. 😉
Check out some photos of our first day adventures!

Today, October 7, 2026, marks three years since the devastating terror attacks in Israel.

Our Beth Radom community solemnly remembers the more than 1,200 innocent lives cut short, the thousands wounded, cruelly abducted, and the profound trauma that permanently altered our global Jewish family. We continue to stand in solidarity with the families of the victims and hold space for the grief that remains.

Over these last three years, our pain has been compounded by a heartbreaking and unprecedented surge in antisemitism around the world, and here at home, affecting our schools, workplaces, and community spaces. Yet, in the face of this rising hostility, Beth Radom remains a steadfast sanctuary of Jewish pride, unity, and strength. We refuse to let fear dim our light, and we continue to counter hatred with an even deeper commitment to our faith and each other.

Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱

Tomorrow evening, the Beth Radom Congregation family begins our celebration of Simchat Torah!

Meaning "Rejoicing with the Torah," this vibrant holiday marks the conclusion of our annual Torah reading cycle and the immediate, joyful start of the new cycle from Genesis. It is a time of immense celebration where we take the Torah scrolls out of the Ark and dance with them in seven circuits (Hakafot begins at 6:30pm), filled with singing, energy, and community spirit.

From our clergy, board, and staff, may this new cycle of learning bring blessings, peace, and unity to our community! Chag Sameach! ✨
