Beth David B'nai Israel Beth Am

Beth David B'nai Israel Beth Am Beth David Synagogue is a warm and welcoming Egalitarian Conservative Jewish Community: Participate,

A multi-generational synagogue over 60 years in the making, Beth David B'nai Israel Beth Am offers services and programming for the young and young at heart! Some our programming committees include Youth & Families, Shul-Wide, Adult Education, Sisterhood, Brotherhood, Club Chaverut (Seniors), and Beth David Singles50+. Our youth groups are broken down into three categories: Yedidim (Grades 1-5), K

adima (Grades 6-8) and USY (Grades 9-12). The congregation is an active affiliate of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. We offer an extensive Adult Education Program and seek to foster strong identification with Jewish practice and tradition, with the State of Israel and the greater Canadian and North American Jewish Community! In addition to Shabbat and Festival Services, Beth David offers two daily morning minyanim (services) and a daily Mincha-Maariv service. On Shabbat and Chag (holiday) mornings, we offer programming for children from nursery-grade 12 in age appropriate groups: KinderShabbat: Nursery-SK, Shabbat's Cool: Grade 1-5, and Teen Talks: Grade 6-12 (not all Shabbatot and holidays - please visit our website for scheduled dates). We also have a USY-specific page for programming for grades 6-12. Give them a "like" to stay up-to-date with programs and activities geared towards teens! https://www.facebook.com/BethDavidUSY/

We welcome you to come and experience the sense of ruach and community at Beth David.

Beth David’s B’nai Mitzvah program runs from Jan. 27 to Mar. 31, 2025. This program is intended to create meaningful engagement with Jewish tradition and the important questions of what it means to be a Jew today. Our focus will be on building real connections - to Jewish tradition, peoplehood and the Conservative Jewish approach; connections to the experience of becoming b’nai mitzvah, to one another in our group, and Beth David and the Toronto Jewish community. For further information, contact Rabbi Jordan ([email protected]) or Michael Rubin ([email protected]).
