Would you like to have an informal chat with people who respect the world and the environment, who believe in social justice, but won’t tell you what you should believe about God, sin, heaven or redemption? In fact we welcome all your questions about life and spirituality.

Bring your lawn chair in case the weather is nice. We will supply the tea, coffee, snacks and a warm welcome.

"Carol Ann Coffee Circle"
Sunday, August 30th at 10:30 am

This day we will gather in person at 1502 Mountdale Ave
There will not be a zoom option - join us in person

Sally Palmer Woods will host this informal gathering where we share joys, concerns, and things close to our heart.

It is named in memory of the late Carol Ann Brumpton who always promoted inclusiveness. Refreshments will be included so bring something to share and a lawn chair if the weather is good.

Your mind was built to give grace easily. People are human; mistakes happen. Everyone has a bad day that turns into a hurtful comment or a promise they didn't keep. Extending grace for a single moment isn't weakness. It's a healthy mind doing exactly what it should.

Patterns are different. A pattern is a moment your mind already forgave, showing up again, and again, dressed as something new each time. If it keeps happening, it's no longer a moment you're being asked to overlook. It's a routine someone built that requires you to keep offering grace so they never have to change.

The hard part is telling the two apart in real time, especially when you love the person doing the hurting. Grace feels like the loving thing to keep giving. But repeated grace for a repeated pattern eventually becomes self-abandonment wearing a kind face.

Give grace where it's earned. Break the pattern where it keeps repeating. Your mind can tell the difference if you actually let it. đź§
