Happy Thanksgiving to all ! Our doors are now open serving our annual Thanksgiving Hot Turkey Meal until 3:30PM today. We want to thank everyone who contributed into making this meal happen. A huge thank you to RFDA Thunder Bay Regional Food Distribution Association for preparing 40 turkeys and carving them for us and sending us pumpkin pies & assorted crisps for us to use as a dessert option. Thank you to Bennett’s Bakery for supplying our dinner rolls and a huge thank you to Janice for always helping prepare desserts for each holiday. Thank you to everyone else who brought in donations, volunteered their time to help us in preparation leading up to the holiday. Thank you to every volunteer & staff member who gave us their precious gift of time on this holiday. Many smiling faces enjoying this one. Happy thanksgiving from all of us at the Dew Drop Inn. We are so thankful for all of your support and the role each of you play in our Compassion Kitchen.

💚 $347 for kids… from bigger kids! 💚

We’re so proud of Sameer and Luke, who were passed the torch by Luke’s older sister, Ava, and her friend Claire, who started something pretty great at St. Ignatius High School!

These Seniors collected uniforms from last year’s graduating students, laundered and sorted them, and then offered them at extremely reasonable prices during the Grade 9 BBQ.

Not only does this help families save a little money, it’s also an amazing community service AND a green effort.

And the best part?
$347 was raised and donated to Children's Centre Thunder Bay, which provides children’s mental health, child development and parenting services to infants, children, youth and families across our community!

Naveen... oh yes, you get a shoutout! We hope you can follow in your brother Sameer’s footsteps, just as Luke followed in Ava’s!

What a wonderful tradition to keep going! Way to go, Falcons! St. Ignatius would be proud! 🥹
