The Consulate General of India, Vancouver, in collaboration with the India-Canada Cultural Association (ICCA), Saskatoon, is hosting a Consular Camp at Geeta Bhawan, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple -
107 La Ronge Rd, Saskatoon, SK on:

July 18 (Saturday): 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
July 19 (Sunday): 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

🔹 Services Available During the Camp:
1. Passport Surrender / Renunciation
2. OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) -Please ensure you bring your surrender certificate
3.Passport Renewal
4. Visa Services
5. Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
6. Attestation / Power of Attorney

Our hearts are heavy after the tragic incident in Melville, Saskatchewan involving two RCMP officers who were shot while serving our community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured officers, their families, their fellow RCMP members, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking situation.

We are grateful for the bravery and dedication of our first responders who put their lives on the line every day to protect others.

May Waheguru ji bless the officers with strength and healing, and bring comfort and peace to all those impacted. 🕊️🙏

It was a pleasure to attend the Gala Night celebrating the 45th Anniversary of the Saskatoon Open Door Society.

For my family, this evening was especially meaningful. Like many newcomers, we arrived in Canada with hopes, dreams, and plenty of questions. Saskatoon Open Door Society help turn uncertainty into opportunity by providing support, connections, and a sense of belonging.

Hearing the stories of newcomers and seeing the dedication of board and staff, volunteers, and community partners was truly inspiring. A heartfelt congratulations to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey. Thank you for the difference you make every day and for helping make Saskatoon a more welcoming and inclusive city for all. Wishing the Saskatoon Open Door Society as they carry forward this important work for generations to come.

Yesterday, it was truly an honour to attend the beautiful Celestial Wedding of Sri Valli Devasena Samedha and Sri Subramanya Swamy.

Such a peaceful divine atmosphere and a lovely blend of devotion, culture, and tradition.

May those who lost their homes find strength, comfort, and support during this difficult time. We are grateful to the firefighters, first responders, and neighbours who stepped up to help. As a community, we stand together and pray for everyone’s safety, recovery, and well-being. 🙏🏽
