We have many examples of our priests reaching out and serving others in our faith community and our retired priests have a significant role in our faith journey. We recall endless special moments of their service among us: celebrating the sacraments; welcoming babies, children and adults into the Catholic faith; teaching, guiding and confirming our faith; officiating and celebrating marriages; offering comfort to the sick and dying; and all the pastoral support, reconciliation, care and friendship they have provided along the way. In their retirement, they continue to extend with grace their unwavering dedication and service to God, His people, and wherever needed.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon currently cares for 12 retired priests and continues contributing to our international priest's retirement fund in their home diocese.

Join us on April 30th in Saskatoon for a special evening with Sarah Kroger as part of her current tour, and her only stop in Canada.

Known for her deeply prayerful music, Sarah’s songs have helped lead countless people into worship and encounter with the Lord. She is also featured on the Hallow prayer app, where many have prayed along with her music.

Sarah will be joining us for the Bishop’s Dinner, bringing a beautiful night of music, and inspiration to our community.
