Sunday Recap and here's our takeaway from the service

✨ ETERNITY IN HEAVEN

What a powerful reminder that this world is not all there is.

From the brokenness we experience on earth to the eternal hope we have in Christ, we are reminded that our lives must be lived with eternity in view.

Temporary things cannot satisfy an eternal longing. Our hope rests in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and our response to Him matters now.

May we not only hear the Word but live in readiness for eternity.

The question is not whether eternity will come, but whether we are ready for it.

September started with a SOUND! 🔥🙌🏾

Our first Sunday of the month was filled with testimonies, thanksgiving, praise, and hearts overflowing with gratitude. God has been faithful, and we had every reason to give Him praise! ❤️

And as we step into our theme for the month — BORN TO SHINE ✨ — we’re reminded that we were never created to hide the light God has placed within us.

This month, we SHINE! 🌟

⛰️ MOUNTAINS BE MOVED

“Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain…” — Zechariah 4:7

When the mountain stands before you, remember:

• Don’t despise small beginnings. God is working through the process, even when progress feels small.

• Know who stands before the mountain. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. Don’t let the size of the obstacle make you forget the greatness of your God.

• Be sincere with God. Prayer is more than repetition—come before Him honestly and cultivate a real relationship with Him.

• Recognize the purpose in the process. Some situations are allowed to unfold so that the glory of God can be revealed. (John 11)

• Dislodge every distraction. Anything occupying the seat of your heart that belongs to Christ has to move.

• Position yourself rightly. Right connections. Right revelation. Right purpose. Ask God to position you where His will for your life can flow.

The mountain may be real, but so is the God standing with you.

Sunday Service Recap

We had a powerful conversation with the youths on some of the realities they face today:

• Mental & Spiritual Hurdles — Navigating fear, pride, timidity, and emotional struggles while learning to depend on God.

• Technology & AI — Using technology wisely, verifying information, and remembering that AI should never become our ultimate source of truth.

• Faith in a Secular World — Staying rooted in your identity in Christ, standing firm in your faith, and navigating life in the diaspora.

This is a reminder that the challenges facing this generation are real—but so is the God who equips us to face them. 🙏🏾✨

See you next sunday!!

Sunday Service Recap🤍

Here are some the Key Takeaways:
- Christ is the only true and lasting foundation upon which we should build our lives.

-Human beings, no matter how gifted or respected, are imperfect and should never become the foundation of our faith.
King Solomon's life reminds us that wealth, wisdom, and achievements are empty without God at the center.

-Guard your heart by being mindful of what you consume spiritually—go beyond sermon clips and study God's Word for yourself.

-Evaluate the foundation of your life and rebuild any area that is not firmly rooted in Christ.

-Develop a lifestyle of discipleship through consistent study, obedience, and a personal relationship with God so your faith can withstand life's storms.

Join us this coming sunday for an amazing time with God; 12pm @601 Eastlake Avenue

Last sunday recap🤗.

We talked about - Obeying God Even When It's Hard

Obedience isn't always easy. Sometimes God asks us to take a step before showing us the whole picture.

📖 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding..." — Proverbs 3:5-6

Just like Abraham, faith means obeying God even when we don't have all the answers. Trusting Him requires surrendering our doubts, laying down our own plans, and believing that His way is better than ours.

💡 Key reminders: • Read God's Word • Pray honestly • Stay connected to godly community • Obey promptly • Remember His faithfulness

Your next step may feel uncertain, but God is faithful to guide those who trust Him.

🙏 What area of your life is God calling you to trust Him more?
