“Forest Fritter Friends is a training center for adults with special needs. We offer a free, 6 month, hands on learning experience. Our end goal is to equip each team member with the skills to attain meaningful employment and to live life to the fullest. Their days with us are full of faith, friendship, purpose and belonging. As we enter our fourth year of ministry we are so thankful for your support and encouragement as we seek to empower these adults to do great things. “

Upward Basketball is a fun semi-competitive c-ed basketball house league for students, Gr. 1 to Grade 8.

It includes one hour of practice and one hour of game time each week!

The rain came down but it didn’t dampen our ability to enjoy Ice Cream Sunday!!

Thanks to Sneha and NiceCream for their excellent, generous and yummy service. And their flexibility due to the weather. The line stayed long, the conversations lasted longer…another great Ice Cream Sunday!!

At the SEMC our mission focus on June is on the El Salvador Mission trip with Shelter. We have been privileged to have Stefany Lazo from the Shelter staff, visit this week.
