A Life Given to the Life-Giver

Sis. Dory Villanueva’s colorful life was selflessly devoted to please her Life-Giver:

She faithfully worked alongside the love of her life, Bro. Eddie, in growing and nurturing JIL Worldwide by the power of the Holy Spirit;

She raised Mayor Jon, Senator Joel, Mayor Joni, and Ptr. Jovi in the holy fear of the Lord;

She was JIL first Bible teacher—establishing a template for ministry success that remains to influence and inspire our pastors worldwide;

She shepherded the growth of Jesus Is Lord Colleges Foundation from a school for early learners to the respected multi-disciplinary institution that it is now;

She passionately uplifted the poor and the marginalized through iCare Ministries Foundation;

She lived a life of love, giving the highest glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.

JIL family celebrates Sis. Dory—a true testament to what God can accomplish through a life absolutely yielded to the Life-Giver. Her legacy lives!

Today, we lovingly remember Mayor Joni Villanueva-Tugna, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, who left an enduring footprint in ministry and public service. As the former Mayor of Bocaue, Bulacan, and Executive Director of Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide, she touched countless lives with her exceptional leadership, genuine compassion, and servant-heartedness. Her dedication to God's work, her family, and the community is a testament to her faith, character, and love. We honor her memory, celebrate her achievements, and find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, excellence, and service continues to inspire and impact lives. Her life remains a powerful reminder of the importance of faith, family, and service to others.

As we remember Mayor Joni, let us lift up the Villanueva and Tugna families in prayer, that they may find solace and strength in the love and support of those who knew and loved her. 🌹✝️🕊️

The Lord has indeed with us last Sunday with a beautiful message about the power of God's resurrection preached by Ptr Elmer. We were also blessed to hear testimonies of God's goodness and faithfulness as evidence that are God is alive, and an ever-present help in times of troubles.

We also prayed for the beautiful mothers of JIL Sarnia, recognizing the women who fears the Lord is to be praised!
