So, as we speak we need to ask, is this a good report?
Have I verified the facts?
Is what I am saying true?
Even if it is true, is it kind and necessary?
Do I need to say this, or am I just filling space with my words?"

Friends, our words carry weight. They matter. When we speak gossip or slander, we sin not just against others, but against the body of Christ—our spiritual family—which means we're ultimately sinning against our own body.

May the words we speak minister life and grace. 💙

When we think about obedience, usually a small sense of burden comes to mind. But when we add God to the sentence, and we remember He gave His Son tu save us, obedience feels more like a privilege. Happy Tuesday!
