NO SUNDAY SCHOOL TODAY
On the Sunday of a long weekend or a holiday, we want to give Sunday school teachers a time of rest, so there will be no Sunday School today during the service.
SEPTEMBER BBQ POTLUCK
Our BBQ potluck will be next week Sunday, September 13. We will still meet in the same park as usual immediately following service. Please bring your own meat for the grill, and a side, salad, or dessert to share. If the weather is not great, we will have it here at the church.
COVENANT MEMBER CANDIDATE
Debra Welch has applied for covenant membership at City Chapel. Her name will stand for one more week before the congregation. If there are any biblically-based concerns about her application, please inform the elders by September 10.
MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER OUT
Kira Sinnamon and her household have moved to Penticton, BC. Kira’s covenant membership has been transferred from the pastoral care of the elders of City Chapel to the pastoral care of the elders of The Winepress, in good standing. We praise the Lord for Kira and her daughters, and pray the Lord would encourage them in their new location.
CITY GROUP LAUNCH MEETING
We will have a City Group launch meeting Wednesday, September 16th at 7:00 PM at the chapel. Please come to learn more about City Groups and meet the City Group leaders. For those interested in being a City Group leader message Noah Welch.
BUDGET PROJECTION MEETING
City Chapel’s Budget Projection Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30 at 7PM. This meeting is for covenant members of City Chapel, who are encouraged to attend, have questions answered, and celebrate what God is doing and has done in the life of City Chapel.
