As we prepare for the summer season, Your Thriving Family is entering a time when ministry needs often increase while charitable giving naturally slows.

Families continue facing relationship challenges. Crisis moments do not pause. Individuals, couples, and families still reach out looking for support, care, and hope.

Rather than waiting for that summer gap to arrive, we are coming to you early with an invitation to help us prepare. Our Spring Fundraiser is about strengthening the ministry for the months ahead so people can continue receiving support when they need it most.

A heartfelt thank you to Foresters Financial for the generous donation of baby gift bags filled with diapers, wipes, toys, cream, and blankets, as well as school supplies, including backpacks, binders, pencils, scissors, and more!

Thank you to Solomon Financial Head Office for thinking of the children of the families we serve and for taking the time and care to purchase supplies and assemble the gift bags and school supplies.

These gifts will mean so much to the children and their families.

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, foster mothers, adoptive mothers, and every woman who has nurtured, loved, prayed, sacrificed, encouraged, and helped others grow.

Your love matters.

With Mixed Feelings, We Say Goodbye

It’s with both gratitude and sadness that we say goodbye to our ministry storage unit.

A few years ago, Bluebird Storage generously donated a storage unit to Your Thriving Family.

Through that gift, we were able to receive gently used household items, clothing, furniture, and more from our community—and pass them along to families in need at no cost.

It became a beautiful expression of care and provision.

One moment that has stayed with us was when someone donated a sandwich maker. Within a week, a single mom came to us as she was starting over. When we asked what she needed, one of her requests was… a sandwich maker. Her young son loved sandwiches. What a joy it was to place that exact item into her hands. Moments like that reminded us that even the smallest things can carry deep meaning.

Recently, a new company took over the facility, and unfortunately, we received notice that the storage unit would no longer be donated.

As a result, we are currently unable to accept physical donations due to limited storage space.

We would, however, greatly appreciate help from anyone willing to assist us in organizing the items we were able to move into our office.

To Bluebird Storage—thank you. Your generosity made a real and lasting impact on families across Red Deer and Central Alberta. That space became more than storage—it became a place where needs were met and hope was restored.
