Peterborough Campus Ministry – A Note from Fr. Adam Pantaleo
We are a community of faith centred on Jesus Christ, rooted in prayer and intent on living out our identity as Catholic disciples in the secular world. I am excited to begin my ministry as Chaplain to this wonderful community of university and college students in the Diocese of Peterborough. If you are a Trent University or Fleming College student, you belong here!
Whether it’s attending Sunday Mass at St. Peter-in-Chains Cathedral, joining a faith study group on campus, or visiting the McCloskey Campus Ministry Centre (376 Rubidge St), please don’t hesitate to get involved. PRAYER FOR BISHOP MIEHM AND OUR NEW BISHOP Gracious and loving God,
You shepherd Your Church with unfailing care. In this time of transition, we place our diocese into Your hands.
We pray for Bishop Miehm as he follows Your call to serve the Diocese of London as its 11th bishop. Gracious God, we thank you for the profound gift of Bishop Miehm's ministry among us, and we pray that your Holy Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, and fill him with joy.
We pray for the selection process and discernment for our new Bishop. Send Your Holy Spirit upon Pope Leo XIV, the Apostolic Nuncio, and all entrusted with the sacred task of selecting our
next shepherd. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and hearts deeply attentive to Your will.
Raise up for us a bishop after Your own heart: a servant leader who walks with humility and joy; a faithful teacher who proclaims the Gospel with boldness and clarity; a compassionate listener
who unites our community in love and mercy.
May our new shepherd be a voice for justice, a comfort to the wounded, and a dedicated guide for the journey ahead. Help us, Your faithful people, to remain steadfast in hope, rooted in
prayer, and open to the movement of Your grace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Good Shepherd, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

The rain didn't stop us from having a beautiful Eucharistic Procession inside the church. Fr. Simmy led children carrying candles and throwing flower petals on the 'path'. Andrew followed, incensing the Blessed Sacrament which was carried by Fr. Chima. Our new deacons, Sean and Nic followed behind. Andrea and the choir sang throughout the procession. After the procession we had cake to congratulate Nic and Sean on their Ordinations. About 150 people were served. It was so buy we forgot to take pictures! Thank you to Michelle, Doris, Jackie, Judy, Bruce, Ryan, Brad and anyone else who stepped up to help. Thank you.

Join us this Sunday, June 14th after the 11am Mass for a Eucharistic Procession around the front of the church property.
This sacred tradition is a public witness of our faith and a powerful expression of our love for Jesus truly present in the Eucharist. By carrying the Blessed Sacrament in solemn procession, we proclaim to the world that Christ is among us and continues to nourish, lead, and sanctify His people.
AND CONGRATULATIONS!
AFTER the procession we will have a congratulatory celebration with cake on the front lawn for our new Permanent Deacons, Sean Dunlop and Nicolas DuBonnet!
