On Saturday, February 7th, from 10 AM to 2 PM, bring a few items you no longer wear and take home something new, free, and sustainable! And if you don’t have anything to bring, that’s okay! You’re still welcome to come and pick up something new. Every item that finds a new home helps reduce waste, keeps clothing out of landfills, and strengthens our community.

We are honoured to display the Abraham Festival Plaque. It is always important, but perhaps especially during times of conflict, to lift up and celebrate ways that people of different faiths and backgrounds can come together in mutual respect to advocate for peace and understanding. This Thanksgiving weekend one of the things we are grateful for, are all our friends in the Abraham Festival and all those we have gotten to know through its work.

Each year the Abraham Festival committee passes on the AF plaque to one of the Abrahamic faiths. This year it is entrusted to Mark St united church . We love how the Mark St. community is displaying it in a beautiful little cabinet, in a prominent place. MSUC, thank you for your ongoing support of the Abraham Festival! 💖
