Donations increased nearly twice as much from last year. An ad placed in a local paper also allowed the participation of non-parishioners in Centretown - and informed the community of the good work you support. Your contributions help persons in need of clothing and other goods, and also help financially support the Society’s programs and work. Many thanks to the Young Adults Group for their assistance in this year’s event!

On Tuesday, we celebrated the Archangels, and on Friday, we celebrate the Guardian Angels.

Did you know our sanctuary has statues and images of fourteen angels? Next time you visit, take a closer look—can you find them all? 🔎

Don't forget to stop by the lower level of the Basilica and browse the used books for sale this weekend.

It’s never too late to answer God’s call.

What does the parable of the workers in the vineyard teach us? God’s generosity reaches beyond what we think we deserve. He continues to seek us out and invite us into a life of meaning and hope.

As Pope Leo reminds us:
“God never gives up on us; he is always ready to accept us and give meaning and hope to our lives; however hopeless our situation may seem and however insignificant our merits may appear.”

Whether we feel ready to serve or are still searching for direction, we can respond today—with a prayer, an act of kindness, or a helping hand.

“Don’t postpone—roll up your sleeves, because the Lord is generous and you won’t be disappointed!”

🙏 Lord, find us where we are. Help us hear Your call and respond with willing hearts. Amen.

How can you answer God’s call today?

Saint Patrick was on CTV news

An Ottawa church’s parishioners were issued wrongful parking tickets after mass. As CTV’s Dylan Dyson reports, the tickets were ripped up but concerns remain.
