🌿 Indigenous Spirituality, the Seven Grandfather Teachings & Allyship

What does it mean to truly honour and support Indigenous spirituality?

This Sunday, November 1, Ottawa Spiritual Awakening Sanctuary welcomes Dr. Bernice Downey, an Anishinaabe woman and medical anthropologist, for an important and thought-provoking conversation.

✨ Niizhwaaswi G’mishomisinaanig (Our 7 Grandfathers): A Conversation About Indigenous Spiritual Allyship

Through an exploration of Indigenous ways of knowing and being, Dr. Downey will introduce the Seven Grandfather Teachings and invite us to reflect on the role we can play in respecting and supporting Indigenous spirituality.

Join us this Sunday at the Ottawa Spiritual Awakening Sanctuary as we welcome Rebecca Kelford, RN, BScN — Registered Nurse and Evidential Medium.

Working in palliative care, Rebecca has been present for some of life's most profound moments. She will share her first-hand experiences witnessing individuals crossing over, including remarkable events that have challenged what medicine and science alone can explain.

Rebecca brings a unique perspective, combining her professional nursing experience with a lifelong connection to Spirit and over a decade of providing evidential mediumship readings.

Through her personal stories and experiences, Rebecca invites us to explore the mysteries of life beyond death and the comforting possibility that our connections with loved ones continue.
