CCF Ottawa-Gatineau Sunday Highlights

Last Sunday, we gathered as one CCF family to celebrate 42 years of God’s faithfulness and to be reminded that we never walk alone. Through every season, He continues to lead, provide, restore, and guide us.

We’re grateful to celebrate this milestone together as a church community here in Ottawa-Gatineau, and we look forward to all that God has in store.

Over the weekend, our CCF Ottawa-Gatineau family celebrated another group of believers who took a meaningful step of faith through water baptism.

Baptism is a public declaration of faith, a picture of our new life in Christ, and an act of obedience to follow Jesus.

We rejoice with them as they leave the old life behind and step into a new life in Christ.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17

CCF Ottawa-Gatineau Sunday Service Highlights

What does it look like to experience our extraordinary God by faith?

Through the life of Elijah, we were reminded that faith is more than simply believing in God. It calls us to Listen to His voice, Obey His Word, Trust His plans, and Supplicate through prayer, a simple reminder captured in L.O.T.S.

True faith is reflected in the way we live. When we genuinely trust God, it changes how we respond to His calling, and our obedience becomes an expression of that faith.

Even when circumstances feel uncertain, we can remain confident that our extraordinary God is greater than every challenge we face.

May we continue to listen, obey, trust, and pray as we walk by faith and experience our extraordinary God at work in our lives.

Water Baptism | CCF Ottawa-Gatineau

We’re excited to celebrate with those who are taking the next step in their faith journey through water baptism!

Our baptism class was a meaningful time of learning, sharing, and preparing together for this important step. Water baptism is more than a ceremony. It is a public declaration of our faith in Jesus Christ, an outward expression of the new life we have in Him, and an act of obedience as we choose to follow Jesus.

As a church family, we are blessed to walk alongside these brothers and sisters as they publicly declare, “I belong to Jesus.” We look forward to celebrating this special moment with them and witnessing what God is doing in their lives.
