Sunday Service Highlights

Contentment begins where comparison ends.

As we continued our 10 Commandments series, we were reminded that chasing what others have will never satisfy the heart. Instead, God calls us to live with contentment, generosity, and awe of Him.

When God becomes our greatest treasure, we learn that enough is truly enough.

Another blessed Sunday of worship, learning, and fellowship together.

We were reminded that lying never frees us from the consequences of our actions. Instead, it often leads to even greater consequences. When we choose what is wrong, the temptation to hide it through deception usually follows. God calls us to live with honesty, integrity, and truth in our relationships with Him and with others.

May we choose to avoid evil, walk in truth, and honor God in both our words and actions.

This Sunday reminded us that following Jesus means becoming people who give instead of take, serve instead of seek recognition, and honor God even in the unseen moments.

Sunday Service Highlights at CCF Ottawa Gatineau

Today’s message reminded us that faithfulness is not based on emotions or circumstances, but on a heart that continually chooses to honor God and the commitments He has entrusted to us.

In a world that easily normalizes compromise, may we remain grounded in God’s truth, faithful in our relationships, and steadfast in our walk with Him. Because our God is faithful yesterday, today, and forever.

May God continue to strengthen and guide each one of us throughout the week ahead. We hope to worship, learn, and grow together with you again next Sunday!

CCF Ottawa Gatineau Sunday Service Highlights

Another blessed Sunday spent together as a church family through worship, fellowship, God’s Word, and a special Mother’s Day celebration. 🌷

This week, may we be reminded that God never intended anger and hatred to rule our hearts. Instead, He calls us to surrender our hurts, frustrations, and desire for control to Him, allowing His grace, love, and peace to shape the way we live and treat others.

As a church family, let us continue encouraging one another to honor God, respect life, and reflect Christ in our daily lives.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us, especially all the amazing moms and mother figures in our community. You are deeply appreciated and loved.

Grateful for our D12 gathering with D‑group leaders and ministry leads this past weekend. We spent meaningful time reflecting on how to witness and share the gospel in our everyday lives, that is through our words, actions, and love for others.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19–20)
