Community drop-ins are back! Join us on the third Thursday of the month for coffee, conversation, games. All ages are welcome! We would love to see you on Thursday, September 17th, between 10am-12pm.

As buses return to the streets, and students and teachers of all ages return to classrooms, and the new school year begins, we offer this prayer for this time of new beginnings and pray that the year ahead might be one of growth and learning and wonder for all.
Have a great year, folks!

Tender God,
In this first week of September
as the first day of school rolls out,
we pray for all students,
we pray for all teachers,
we pray for all support workers,
and we pray for all parents and guardians.
We pray that all schools might be
places of safety,
places of learning,
places of caring.
We pray for all teachers, all bus drivers,
all custodians, all librarians, all EAs,
all cafeteria staff, all principals,
and everyone who supports learning.
Give them joy in their labours
and energy to be the best they can be.
And we pray for all students -
the nervous,
the excited,
the fearful,
the happy.
Calm any anxieties,
surround them with your love,
and fill their hearts with peace.
And we pray for all parents and guardians.
For any who are worried -
we pray for peace.
For any who are relieved -
we pray for joy.
For any who are sad -
we pray for your comfort.
For any who are excited -
we pray that the feeling might last.
All of our prayers we gather together
as we pray in the name of Jesus,
the Great Teacher.

During the month of August the church office will be closed, and there will be no worship services. The sanctuary will be open to visitors Wed-Sat between 11:00am-3:00pm, when possible. Come on by for a tour of our beautiful sanctuary!

As Lunenburg County Pride Week wraps up today (Though, not before the South Shore Q***r Hockey League Game at 2pm at the LCLC!) we thought we'd share a few pictures of last weekend's kickoff. It was such a gift to be able to walk with other churches in the 4th Pride Parade and bear witness to God's love for all people! Thanks to all who made it happen!
