Worship tomorrow, May 31 will be at 10AM in the gym of the Mahone Bay Centre in Mahone Bay (the former Mahone Bay School). Bring a donation for the food bank. This is a gathering of all 10 congregations of the South Shore Lutheran Shared Ministry . This 5th Sunday we will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the ELCIC with our Day of Action focused on food security. All welcome!!!

Worship on Sunday, May 24 will be at 11 AM. Communion will be offered this Pentecost Sunday. Wear something Red! A time of fellowship will follow the service. Remember to bring an item for the food bank/food pantry in preparation for the SSLSM gathering on May 31 (5th Sunday at the Mahone Bay Centre).

Notice. A special congregational meeting will be held on June 7 to consider funding for work necessary on the church building. Because the cost exceeds what Church Council can spend, this meeting is necessary. The meeting will follow the worship service.

Worship with communion on Sunday, May 10 is at 1 PM with Pastor Annette presiding. Bring an item for the local food banks. We are doing extra food bank collections each Sunday this month. See why below!

May has 5 Sundays, and as the practice has become, there will be a special gathering on May 31. All the congregations in the South Shore Lutheran Shared Ministry will come together in the gymnasium of the Mahone Bay Centre. It is also the day that the ELCIC has called for a Day of Action from all congregations. This is part of the celebration of the ELCIC's 40 years in the life of our Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. Each SSLSM congregation will be collecting goods for the food banks across Lunenburg county during May. At our worship on May 31, we will bring all we have gathered reaching out to our communities as our collective Action this day.
