"As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up." - Matthew 13:4 NIV
In Jesus' parable, the seed that fell along the path represents a heart that has become hardened and unreceptive to God's Word. A hard heart does not happen overnight. It often develops gradually through pride, repeated rejection of God's voice, and persistent resistance to His conviction.
When God's Word cannot pe*****te our hearts, the enemy can easily sn**ch away the truth before it takes root and produces fruit. This passage invites us to examine our hearts and ask: Am I still sensitive to the Lord's voice, or have I become resistant to His leading?
May we remain humble, teachable, and willing to receive God's Word with faith and obedience. As we surrender our hearts to Him, He can soften even the hardest ground and bring forth a fruitful harvest for His glory. 🙌🔥
Prayer: Lord, please soften my heart. Remove any pride, unbelief, or resistance that keeps me from receiving Your Word. Help me to listen, obey, and allow Your truth to take deep root in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen 🙏🙏🙏
