Dawn Watch Prayer Meeting | Praying from what God has already done

1 Samuel 17:37
“The LORD who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”

1. David remebered before he fought.
2. Our testimony becomes a fuel to our prayer.
3. Stand in the gap of God’s faithfulness.
4. Do not let the size of the prayer request determine the size of our faith.
5. David’s past was preparing him with his present.

In Matthew 14:22-33, Peter discovered that becoming a water walker begins with one thing: keeping our eyes on Jesus.

The water may be uncertain.
The waves may be overwhelming.
The storm may be frightening.

But Jesus is certain.

A water walker is someone who chooses to step out of the boat, face opposition, and desperately depend on Jesus. It is not the absence of storms that makes us water walkers - it is our willingness to trust Jesus in the middle of them. 🙏

When our eyes are fixed on Him, we can step out in faith, knowing that the One who calls us onto the water is the One who will sustain us on it. 🙌🌊

Don’t let the waves keep you in the boat. Keep your eyes on Jesus and step out in faith.

When Jesus called Levi, in Luke 5:27-32 (NLT), He said, “Follow me and be my disciple.” Levi immediately got up, left everything, and followed Jesus. His encounter with Jesus didn’t just change what he believed - it changed the direction of his life.

Following Jesus is more than admiring Him; a fan admires Jesus, but a disciple follows Jesus. A fan asks, “What can I get from God?” while a true follower asks, “Lord, what can I do for You?”

The Pharisees saw Levi through the lens of his past, but Jesus saw the person he could become. Religion looks at your past, but Jesus looks at your future. Jesus calls imperfect people, not because they have everything together, but because they recognize their need for Him.

And Levi didn’t keep his encounter with Jesus to himself. He welcomed others into his home so they could experience Jesus too. A follower of Jesus wants people to experience the presence of Jesus.

May we never be more concerned about how many people are following us than whether we are faithfully following Jesus. May our lives point people toward Him, lead others into His presence, and reflect the transformation that comes from truly walking with Christ. 🙏❤️

The goal is not to gain followers for ourselves, but to faithfully follow Jesus and help others follow Him too. ✝️

From worshipping God with joyful hearts, learning His Word, praying together, and enjoying fellowship—every moment was a beautiful reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness! 🙏📖✨

We are so grateful for every child who came, participated, worshipped, and opened their hearts to Jesus. 🥹❤️

🌱 Little hearts. Big faith.

🙌 Little lives. BIG plans in God’s hands!

Our prayer is that these children will continue to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus, becoming bold, faithful, and passionate followers of Christ. ❤️‍🔥
