Hey Young Adults! It was great getting to see you last night and wrap up studying Colossians Chapter 2. If you weren't able to make it, feel free to read verses 2:16-23 and consider the following questions:

1. How can we equip ourselves to dispel teachings and commands that come from humans vs. those that are scriptural?
2. What rituals or rules do we hold in our own lives that are merely of human creation? Are they distracting or helping us in our walks with Christ?

Due to the busyness of this season for many, we'll be taking a break from weekly Bible study for the summer. There'll be other opportunities for us to hang out though! Feel free to message us if you'd like to plan out a time for us to get together. Hope you have a great week!

Hey Young Adults! Looking forward to Bible study tonight, hope to see you there!

Hey hey hey CPYA! It was great getting to continue studying Colossians with you last night. If you weren't able to make it, feel free to catch up by reading verses 2:6-15 and considering the following questions:

1. What are some ways that we can guard our hearts and minds from "hollow and deceptive philosophy" (2:8)?

2. Are there ways in which I find myself blending with the world? If so, what would it look like to be intentionally set apart this week?

There will be no Bible study this Sunday as we're taking a break for the long weekend. We look forward to wrapping up Colossians 2 on the 29th!

Hey folks! Last night we finished studying Colossians Chapter 1 and began moving through Chapter 2. If you couldn't make it, feel free to read verses 1:24-2:5 and consider the following application questions:

1. How can I share Jesus with those around me this week? Who specifically in my life can I share with about Him?

2. How can I serve my church in a new way? Maybe it’s something as simple as making someone new feel welcome or encouraging someone in their faith :)

3. What can we do this week to strengthen our own faith "so that no one may deceive [us] by fine-sounding arguments" (Col. 2:4, NIV)?

Hope you all have a great week! Looking forward to continuing our study next Sunday.

Good afternoon everybody! Looking forward to Week Four of our Colossians study at 6:30 tonight. Hope to see you there!

Hey Young Adults! It was awesome getting to see you and continue studying Colossians together last night. If you weren't able to make it, we discussed verses 1:15-23; here are the application questions we left off with:

1. Colossians 1:18 talks about Christ "having the supremacy" in everything. The Greek word for "supremacy" here indicates being first. What would it look like for you to put Christ first this week?

2. Verse 20 talks about God reconciling all things to Himself through Christ. How have you experienced God reconciling you to Him and making you more like Jesus, over the past years, months, weeks, and even days?

3. How have you seen the way you think shift since getting to know Jesus?

Have a great week everyone! We hope to see you this Sunday as we finish Colossians Chapter 1 :)

Hey folks! Hope to see you tonight at 6:30 for Bible study :) can't wait!
