The TrueCity Leadership Team is delighted to introduce Alice Plug-Buist as our next Network Developer.
A longtime resident of Hamilton, Alice is well known across the city for her passion for serving “the least of these” and helping Christians grow in their love for God and neighbour. She will be wrapping up her time later this summer as the Executive Director for Helping Hands Street Mission, and she also has extensive leadership experience as a board member of City Housing Hamilton, the Barton Village BIA, and Indwell.
“It’s an incredible honour and joy for me to take on the role with TrueCity. Jesus prayed for me and for all of us just before he went to the cross, and his prayer as that we would be “together”, so that the world might know that God sent Jesus. I am excited to take up the task of encouraging churches across Hamilton to find ways to work together, toward the greatest good of our City.”
We believe the Lord has brought Alice into this role for such a time as this, as we believe her experience in leadership, giftings, passion, and heart for cultivating unity will help the network continue to mature and thrive as Churches Together for the Good of the City.
