💙😭 WE’RE NOT CRYING… YOU ARE 😭💙

Join us this Sunday at Devon Park Baptist as we celebrate the ministry of Pastor Spencer and Lily and, in a sense, send them off with our love, prayers, and blessings as they follow God’s leading into a new season of ministry 🙏

This will be a special and meaningful service as we thank God for their faithful service and the impact they’ve had on our church family and community.

And don’t forget! If you’ve signed up for the BBQ Potluck following the morning service, we’re looking forward to a great time of food, fellowship, and conversation together as we spend some extra time with the Tapley Family.

✨ Looking Forward to Sunday! ✨

Join us this Sunday at Devon Park Baptist Church as Pastor Richard continues his series through the book of James with a message titled: "Oh, Be Careful Little Tongue What You Say" (James 3)

Our words have tremendous power, for good or for harm. Come be encouraged, challenged, and equipped by God's Word as we learn what James has to say about the tongue and the Christian life 🙌

Whether you're part of our church family, new to Devon Park, or simply curious about faith, you're warmly welcome to join us. Our service begins at 10:30 AM, but come 15 minutes early to get a cup of coffee and chat with some of the kindest people you'll meet. We'd love to see you there! 💙

And don't forget about prayer meeting this Wednesday at 7:00 PM, where Gerry Thornton will be leading our time in God's Word before we spend time praying together 🙏

Looking ahead to the summer, we're excited to be trying something a little different! From July 8 to August 12, our Wednesday gatherings will move into homes in smaller groups for Bible study and prayer together. If you'd be interested in hosting, please speak with Pastor Richard as soon as possible. Sign-up sheets will be available soon, so stay tuned!

We’re excited to welcome missionary Jason Anderson with us this Sunday! Jason and his wife serve with Word of Life Korea, helping lead camp and outreach ministries focused on sharing the hope of Jesus with Korean youth and equipping churches and leaders to reach the next generation with the Gospel 📖 Come ready to be encouraged as we hear how God is working through this vital ministry.

And church family, don’t forget about our Squash-Ins happening after the service! 🏡 These are always such a wonderful opportunity to enjoy friendship, food, laughter, and community together in a relaxed setting. If you signed up, make sure to check your email for your group assignment and important details sent out by Pastor Richard. If you haven’t received them, please reach out to him!
