We have entered the season of Pentecost.
The coming of the Holy Spirit.
The birth of the Church.
The reminder that God still moves among ordinary people and sends us into the world with courage, hope, and good news.
Pentecost is not just about what happened long ago in an upper room. It is about what God is still doing now — stirring hearts, calling people, renewing communities, and empowering us to live differently in the world around us.
As we celebrate this season across the Diocese of Fredericton, may we be open again to the Spirit’s leading:
to listen well,
to love boldly,
to serve generously,
and to follow Jesus faithfully in our neighbourhoods and communities.
“Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm… and everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2)
Happy Pentecost. Come, Holy Spirit.
