🙏 Praying for CFB Wainwright

Our hearts are heavy as we hear of the tragic events at CFB Wainwright in Alberta.

Today, we join with Canadians across our nation in lifting up in prayer the families who have lost loved ones, those who have been injured, and all who have been affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.

We pray for God’s comfort and peace to surround those who are grieving, for healing and strength for the injured, and for wisdom and protection for the first responders, medical teams, and military personnel working through this difficult time.

Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

In moments when words seem inadequate, we are reminded that God is near to those who are hurting.

From all of us at Morning Gate Church, we extend our heartfelt condolences and stand together in prayer with the Canadian Armed Forces, their families, and the entire Wainwright community.

May God’s presence bring comfort, strength, and hope in the days ahead. ❤️🇨🇦
