Women of Substance International (WoSI) is a trans-denominational, inter-generational fellowship of Christian women aged 18 years and above. Its a vision entrusted Sr Elmah Nthebolan by God Almighty Himself; borne out of the need to intercede for the marriage and family instit
utions in Botswana and beyond.The scripture upon which the Vision is founded is Proverbs 14:34 which declares that ‘Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is reproach to a people.’ The Bible is replete with examples of instances where people /nations were destined for destruction but when those in right standing with God stood in the gap or repented, the mercy of God abound and the righteous were spared (Lot and family vis-a-vis S***m and Gomorrah; Gen 18:32b; Gen 19:29). The word substance connotes: soul, heart, core, spirit, essence, gist or material that makes up something! Thus at WoSI our main desire is to espouse the beauty of a gentle and a quite spirit which is of great worth in God’s sight (1 Peter 3:3-4). WoSI is duly

• Its VISION is primarily to:
Instil the fear of the Lord and restore God ordained spiritual order in the marriage and family institutions hence the foundational scripture; ‘Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is reproach to a people’ (Proverbs 14:34). Its OBJECTS are to:
a) Intercede /stand in the gap in prayer for the God -ordained marriage and family institutions in Botswana and beyond. b) Practically affect lives of those less privileged than us through prayer, counselling community outreaches, feeding and clothing. c) Encourage, equip and empower one another so the ‘love of God’ in us is unleashed to all within our spheres of influence
• Its VISION is primarily to:

Two women carrying the whole world in their hands –symbolic of the power of righteousness at work through women as few as two! (Righteousness exalts a nation ... Prov 14:34) We believe that God has not changed (Mal 3:16) and that in as much as He saved an entire race through Queen Esther, He will do much more through us if we remain faithful!
